  1. Always a fun place to visit when cruising. This was from 2019. Look forward to returning. Keith
  2. Yes. The good news is as they are released it provides more time for people to decide if they want to book and which itinerary or itineraries. This also gets at the issue of those who wanted to wait to hear how the first cruises went before booking their first cruise. Wise decision IMHO. Keith
  3. Good news from Crystal around the Exceptional Initiative. The date to submit a claim has been extended from June 1st until August 1st, 2023. Additionally, the date to make your first booking has been extended from July 1st to October 1st, 2023. Keith
  4. Another day in Paradise. January of 2014. Keith
  5. Maybe it was the time that one of the posters complained about those who were posting too much about Crystal. I wonder if this thread will require a minimum age requirement of 18 to enter. 🤫 Keith
  6. Just wanted to note there is already a thread on this: Keith
  7. While that is correct, it does note if you don't book air through Crystal you can get a credit of $500.00 per person off the cruise fare. Keith
  8. Because of the wording I am not sure. They might be talking about those discounts or they might be talking about other discounts. If someone wanted to make a new booking, they or their TA would need to call. Keith
  9. It states it is for new bookings only so you would not be eligible for this new discount. Keith
  10. Just released. When you click on this and get to the Crystal site you will get a pop-up showing how it can be used for cruise air booked through Crystal or if you book your own air you can get a cruise credit on the cruise fare. 11. I would use a sharpie and not a ball point or else nine months later there could be another cruiser. 🤣 Just say'n. Keith
  12. LouChamp. Thank you for the kind words and I am glad those stories they told you still resonate with you. Those are great memories including the Bistro and Afternoon Tea. Aloha, Keith
  13. May 2018 while sailing Crystal Symphony Los Angeles to Vancouver via Hawaii. Keith

    F&B people

Restaurant Managers Leo and Remi are back. They didn't work on other lines during the shutdown. I don't want to comment on anyone presently working on anther line because if they are coming back that is not something that should be noted on a public site unless they have given permission for it to be posted. I am aware of several Sommelier's and Head Sommelier's returning but in the case of Sommelier's do not want to mention names in case they are working on other lines right now. There will be some who won't ba back because even if Crystal never was shutdown some of them would not have been back at this point in time. Retirement or plans on land are some of the reasons. JMO but I expect inclusive wines to be more like we experienced with Crystal and for cuisine the same or better. You'll learn more as each vessel returns to service. Several returning members will be on board at the start while others will return after that. It's not too long to wait. Keith
  15. Thank you Shmoo here. Keith
  16. Yes, and this is why it sometimes takes a while. It's not only a manual process but they have to wait for the Moecker. In the end, sometimes Moecker is correct while other times wrong. Good news is the are getting credits to cruises that were unexpected. I guess in a few months we will know what we get from Moecker in terms of refunds. Still not expecting much so whatever it is we will move forward. Keith
  17. A day in Paradise thanks to the tenders. Keith
  18. If you are celebrating a birthday does Disney provide the cake at no charge or do you need to order it ahead of time or once on board? Also if you order one of the wine packages before you board is that for your accommodation or can you have it in the dining venues? Keith
  19. Yes just be patient. Please note that this is a very manual process. They first have to process your form and then they have to get with Moecker and then wait to hear from Moecker. And then if there are differences they try to reconcile them. I applied quite early and I believe it took about three weeks before I heard back. For some a shorter interval and for others a longer interval and also remember that May 27 and May 28 is the weekend. Keith
  20. Yes, use the e-mail. Sometimes you hear right back and sometimes it will take time depending on how busy they are and how complex your issues it. Be sure to check your spam folder. Also forward what you sent a second time. I know very recently they were very busy and most of the requests are very manually intensive. Keith
  21. Often on tours you can still see Symphony or Serenity from various vantage points. This was from a small village in Italy nine years ago. Keith
  22. I know I said today. Meant to have said over this Memorial Day weekend recognizing that tomorrow is the actual observed Federal Holiday. Keith
  23. Today, we honor the men and women who died while serving in the United States military. They sacrificed their own lives for a common cause. Keith T
  24. A view of Serenity eight years ago from Bonifacio, France. Keith
  25. Friends on the Crystal sailing we booked. Itinerary. Pricing. We prefer to sail with new Crystal. Keith
