  1. Thank you for that. We'll probably skip it. It looks good but its almost as much as the steakhouse now and im not gonna lie, if i got that Caesar "salad" and i paid for it i would not have been happy lol
  2. Not seeing much about Il Viaggio. Anyone here tried it? Is it worth the extra $42 per?
  3. I actually have it in my phone to try the pasta bar on the first sea day 🙂
  4. Good to know thank you. The pepperoni burger doesn't have an actual burger patty on it, it looks like??
  5. We are leaving on the Venezia in three weeks and I feel totally unprepared. For those that have been on it before, what are some food and drinks that we have to try. After 13 cruises on Carnival, you get used to the Guys, Blue Iguana etc. Excited to try something different
  6. Turns out the balance I was seeing was for gratuity. It got added at some point and I had no idea 🤷‍♂️ Oh well...all taken care of 🙂
  7. I have a sailing coming up on the Venezia on Jan 6th. This is the first cruise I ever did autopay for. I thought I was paid off in Sept but I just noticed on my to-do list on the Carnival it says that I still have an outstanding payment. However I just checked my last confirmation email and my total payments & credits match my payments received. I never received any email about owing any money and we are way past final payment day. I will call later in the day but I wanted to see if this has ever happened to anyone else here??
  8. So they actually cruised with each other last year with no issues which is why he gave him the benefit of the doubt
  9. Yeah....hes not happy lol. Not to mention he literally just got back from a two week Alaskan cruise a couple of days ago. We all knew that was a bad idea but everytime co-worker #1 would ask him "are you still going" he would say yes.
  10. No they have nothing. The guy who is cancelling assured him that he was going everytime he'd ask up until today. Co-Worker #2 (the guy cancelling) literally just got back from a 2 week Alaska cruise a couple of days ago so i saw this coming from a mile away unfortunately.
  11. So this issue is not for me but a co-worker of mine; he is leaving on the Pride in 10 days with another co-worker of mine. The second co-worker just informed us that he cannot go. They are in a balcony and both paid up 100%. Co-worker #1 is telling him to just not show-up and call Carnival the next and tell them that there was an emergency. He was told if he did that, at least he would get the money back for the taxes and port fees. In all the cruises Ive been on, Ive never had to deal with a situation like this so I'm not so sure what the best course of action would be. I don't see any situation where co-worker #2 doesn't have to eat all of the cost but again Ive never been in this situation. Any advice would be welcome. TIA
  12. I have no idea. I just says "snack only" for food option. Im sure you could bring whatever you wanted
  13. Says it comes with snacks...i wonder what those would be
  14. This helps big time for me thank you. I was about to make a thread asking about these. I dont see a huge difference between the party and picnic cabana
  15. Does anyone know what movies are currently playing at the IMAX and what the tickets are running these days? We are going in afew days. TIA
  16. Personally i did not like it. I think that had more to do with it being out of NYC though. By day 11 i wanted to throw ppl overboard. I think 10 days is my limit.
  17. That's a pretty broad statement. Its not just a Carnival thing. Theres tons of factors that effect cruise experiences, at least in my experience. I made the mistakes of going out of NYC on the inaugural cruise of the Vista and again during the summer on the Magic, two worst cruises ive ever been on. But i also went out of NYC in Sept on a Canada cruise and had a blast. Also went on the Vista again out of Miami and had a great time. Home port, time of year, length of cruise, price are all factors more than brand imo.
  18. I didnt read the entire thread but id assume this is out of NYC? Its not a ship issue, its a home port issue. Ive been out of NYC 3 different times and they are by far the worst people ive ever seen on cruise ships. Especially the teenagers. I was on a sailing of the Magic last year and it was so bad on board that afew weeks later carnival put the new rules into effect. The behavior on the Magic was said to have been a major factor. Now that the magic isnt in NYC anymore im hearing nothing but positive reviews. Its the city
  19. I think it was 2408 on the magic
  20. We liked it because of the reasons everyone else was saying. One thing you need to be careful about is whats above you. We were towards the back (last available cove and now i know why) and located under what i think was a dishwasher or some big machine for the MDR. All night we would hear constant thuds, it was so bad that i thought a piece of the ship was broken because the banging sounded like it was coming from the outside. Our first morning i said something to guest services. To their credit they were extremely honest and told us "Im not going to lie, you have one of the worst rooms on the ship for noise". And they totally made it right even though i told them they didnt have to. Just double check what your under before you book.
  21. I know its extremely hard to determine tones of posts because you cant see or hear the person saying but just be aware that your post came across salty
  22. I got a casino deal, my friends who got an even better deal (starting at $100) was not a casino deal.
