  1. We love balconies. However, with a Port intensive cruise like Europe we would choose the Outside cabin. The outside is probably cheaper which give you extra money to spend on excursions. We are looking at doing a 12 day British Isle cruise on Princess for 2016 and will go with an inside cabin on that cruise with only 1 day at sea.

You will probably get various feedback since balconies is a very nice cabin to have but like you said the extra washroom would come in handy since you have 3 adults in the cabin,IMO.

  2. Another vote for third party insurance. Coverage is much better than what Carnival insurance offers for a similar price if not cheaper. Like others have said, medical and evacuation is quite expensive would be my main concern if something would happen medically.

  3. You probably will be ok with your Fun Shop purchases getting to your new cabin. That being said, I would call anyway to confirm that your stuff will get to the right place. I would be calling to double check on my order but that is what I would do, IMO.

  4. If your booked cruise is after final payment, that may be the reason you did not see a deposit option. After final payment passes, there will be no option for deposit. Just a guess since you did not say when your cruise is sailing.

  5. I honestly didn't know this (both occupants don't have to buy).. so, thanks for the info.

I noticed it states 40% off bottles of wine. Does anyone with experience know - should you order a bottle of wine in a DR... can you split it with friends? Or will they only bring you one glass? :(

2nd Q.. they have an offer for '5 for 4' beer (ie buckets), but it states "delivered to your cabin". Does that mean you can't go to a bar and get one to sit around the pool etc.

For your 2nd question, Is the 5 for 4 beer the item you can order from Gifts and Services? Yes those buckets that are pre-ordered will be delivered to your cabin. You will have a coupon in your cabin for the pre-ordered beer that you will give the room service person in exchange for your beer. On our Coral Princess cruise earlier this year, we was able to order buckets of beer on the Lido deck to have by the pool.

  6. We were on the same cruise with you. Did you have issues with your toilet not flushing and then it would flush minutes later? We did and we were talking to our steward when the room he was cleaning flushed behind him and he said "phew" and said their are issues with the system that they can't get to to fix.

    Great cruise! Great review!

We had that same problem on the Disney Dream last October..... So it's not only on the Sunshine...

We cruised on the Coral Princess earlier this year & had that happen a few times.
