Just received a message from Royal "Get to your station now, your cruise leaves in 30 minutes." We do not cruise until the end of the month. Anyone else just get this?

Thank goodness they are not going back. Those of us with small kids have a hard time keeping them still in one place while they go over all the safety drills.

Last time I called I was on hold for over 1 hr. Is this something they can take care of when we check in on sailing day at the port?

Yes. There is a Deluxe beverage package that includes Voom and it's cheaper than getting the Voom separate. My question is that can my wife just get the basic deluxe beverage package and can I get the package that includes Voom? We only need one connected device.

We are cruising with 2 small kids. Wife and I will have beverage package. Can one of us have the deluxe beverage package with Zoom internet package and the other have just the beverage package. We only want one device to connect to internet.

What about sparkling water? What brands do they carry

Do you still need to prepay for parking at the Port in Ft Lauderdale or pay at the end. I vaguely remember prepaying before leaving for the cruise. I think Miami you prepay.

I am not trying to defraud/scam the drink package. I would like to just bring a 2nd drink if going to a show or maybe relaxing by the pool so I do not need to hunt down a waiter. This will also go for bottled water.

Wife and I have the deluxe beverage package. Can I go to the bar and purchase a beer then immediately order another beer or is there a time limit between drinks purchased with the deluxe beverage package?

I would definitely get something from the cardiologist. I was not even thinking about the connection to the internet until I mentioned to the MA that I was going on a cruise. She stressed that I need to be connected to the internet, especially for the first few months in case any adjustments are needed.

I was always under the impression that it just needed a bluetooth connection I confirmed with the medical assistant that it needs to be connected via Wi-Fi. There is some data from the device that needs to be sent to the MD. I also just got off the phone with a RCCL representative who informed me that I would need to bring a letter from my cardiologist that my device needs to be connected to the internet 24/7 for an exemption.

So I may need to have a defibrillator installed before my cruise coming up. MD said it is ok to cruise after having one installed, just cannot lift anything heavy. This device needs to stay connected to the internet through my phone for monitoring. Are there any medical exceptions for the internet on the ship so you do not have to pay the $20 day? I assume that I will need a medical note. Has anyone ever heard of this?

We don't sail for another month. Can I watch it at any time or is there a time frame when it can be watched

Can they tell if you watched the safety video? We are traveling with a 4 year old so we want to make it painless as possible

It's been ages since our last cruise. Do they still make every gather at the muster station at the same time before sailing?

I wish they would serve spiny lobster instead of maine lobster. In my opinion they taste better.

Leaving from Ft Lauderdale and going to southern Caribbean at end of February. Goint to Haiti, Curacao and Aruba.

Has anyone ever had any issues cruising with a Birth Certificate instead of a passport. Just found out my passport will not be valid 6 months after the cruise which forced me to get an expedited passport (should be here week before the cruise since I am 6.5 weeks out). I also ordered a new birth certificate from the state since mine went missing (just received it). The birth certificate is an official/certified copy from the state. Reason why I am asking is due to some articles online stating RCCL being very strict when traveling with a birth certificate.

So it basically comes down to refundable vs non refundable cruise fare. Used to be all cruise fare is refundable 90 days out. We will just have to start paying more for the cruise to make it refundable so you do not lose any $$.

I also had to order a new birth certificate which I received already from the state. Will I run into any issues traveling with the birth certificate if my passport does not arrive on time? I am sailing with RCCL and the cruise is at the end of February 2023.

We are traveling with family who only speak spanish. Is there a way to request a waiter pre-check in who speaks spanish? It would make it a lot easier when ordering in the MDR.
