Thank you for asking. No, we are NOT going on NCL. But to cruising chick, thank you for the info.

I need some information on traveling with grandchildren. Where do I get the forms needed to allow them to travel with us? Also any medical permission forms that we might need? The kids both have passports and have traveled with them before. The parents were with all of us on that trip.

Thanks for any help/information anyone can pass on to me.

Sorry to disagree, but we couldn't eat it. We thought they were some of the worst hot dogs we have ever tried. Just my opinion.

How is everything going with your nursing career?

We are doing the single digit dance, too! We have about 6 inches of snow and a wind chill of about -7 degrees temp.

But, I'm getting antsy to get out of snowy Ohio.

On our Dream cruise (mitsugirly was there, too) we had ATD and got the same table and waiter each night. We would just get a time when we were all there, seven of us, and maybe we would have to wait for a little while.

I did request early seating. (but that is all you can request when you are booking-- and no consideration takes place in the time that you booked. (we booked over a year out)

 

For our cruise last week only the forward dining room lower deck 3 was for anytime dining. The upper deck 4 was used for traditional as was the entire aft dining room.

 

 

I woulda thought -- that with todays couples dining together (alone) while on vacation would be super important. I barely see my honey all year as our hours of working make us passing ships in the night - so vacation is the time we spend a considerable amount of time-- and I dont want to share with others-- especially with people who do not speak or understand english- is that mean of me?

Yes, that is just mean. Maybe they felt the same way about you.

When we booked, we requested late seating, then changed our minds and wanted anytime dining. We asked that it be changed and were told we were wait listed, about a week later our seating was confirmed for anytime. Maybe we were just lucky!

I always bring a little air freshener "tree" to hang in the cabin. Sometime it just MIGHT smell a little funky.

Ha.. I'll probably get the 4 day... but I'll take it !!! Thanks :) lol

 

The offers we have gotten are for different ships at different times. We got to choose the one we wanted then just called and told them we wanted to take advantage of.

You're not going to cruise Carnival because you no longer get a drink coupon worth $8.75?

All I can say is WOW!

Hubby and I must be definatly in the minority. We did not find her amazing or over the top. We found her to be just so-so. Maybe she was just having a bad week.

What kind of specifics are you looking for? It always seems to me that I can find the info I may be interested in is right there on the Carnival web site. And believe me, I have NO computer smarts, just alot of time for obessive searching (lol).

We always store the luggage under the bed, then also use the luggage to put our dirty clothes in. Just need to pull it out a little ways to put the laundry in. Then on the last day/night roll up the dirty clothes and zip it shut. When you get home take the suitcase straight to the laundry room and START THE WASHER! lol

Can you get melted cheese on the fries? I hope so!

Ginger tabs work for me and I have tried a lot of stuff. The patches are good as long as you don't put your hands anywhere near the patches and then anywhere near your eyes, your pupils will dilate and you will have a hard time seeing until the drugs wear off. JUST SAYING!

I don't know if this has been asked, but, does the american table menu replace the traditional dining room menu? I am not impressed with the american table menu, at all.

Cid, just what goes into a spicy margarita? I have heard 2 stories about them, 1 LOVED them and another said it was the worse thing that they have ever tasted. A margarita is my go-to drink, so I would be interested to know what they taste like. Thanks in advance.
