  1. Enjoy your cruise when you go, and in the meantime, take your ex to court and make him pay you child support. I don't know of any state where that responsibility stops on the 16th birthday! It is a moral obligation to support your children, but I would bet it is also a legal one.

    Good luck!

I agree! At least 2 more years is his obligation.

Also, don't forget to get a permission slip, from him, saying that you have permission to take your daughter out of the country. That's all you would need, to get to the pier and have them tell you that you can't sail because you do not have your ex's OK.

Go and have a wonderful time!!

  2. while it might not be required, I would think it would be something that would be logical to take.

if something were to happen to you and the medic team on board or at a port needed to know what drugs you take and the doses for each, would the person you are with know everything (including to dose?)

if you become incapacitated for any reason and someone needed to know what you took or are taking, you should have it documented somewhere. Keeping them in the original bottle is the easiest but a list from the pharmacy or even a list that you draft up would be something I think would make sense.

I have never taken my meds in the original boottles, I would need a separate suitcase. I do, however, carry with me at ALL times a card that lists all my meds and the dosage. It is just a card, about the size of a business card, (got it from my doctor).

  3. Is it JUST on Easter day? We will be disembarking on Easter, with our grandchildren, and was wondering if they have any activities leading up to Easter. It would be wonderful since they will be traveling home all day Easter and miss the baskets and stuff.

  4. I don't understand the appeal of drinking 15 alcoholic drinks in a day. I mean, after you've passed out/had security escort you back to your room, how much fun are you really having?

It's not that I don't drink (splitting a fishbowl in RedFrog is fun!) but it's the thought process of "I need to make sure I drink at least 8 beers today to not lose money on the drink card" that takes the fun out of it. At least for me.

I could not agree more. I cannot imagine "needing" more than 15 drinks a day. (I am not a tea totaler, I enjoy having a drink, but not to excess.)
