WJ dispensers...yes...bathroom tap...no way. Yums...you would not have wanted to drink some of the bathroom tap water we have witnessed at times. 😝 And I have had "just a few" cruises from RCI over the years myself. 😉 Came out brown, with an awful smell, and disgusting at times. Then there are the times they are flushing the lines with a lot of chlorine...was not difficult to smell what they were doing to kill that crap. I used to refill at the bathroom tap myself, many years ago, but after too may gross experiences with the bathroom tap water...no way. If I am going to refill my water bottle, I will hit one of the filtered water dispensers, yes as in the WJ (always using a disposable cup to transfer to my bottle).

I went over to the "dark side" and just back from Viking 3 week river cruise in Europe. 😉

The ships have been going back and forth with the paper bill. Most of the time we don't receive one, especially when the bartenders get to know us. It's a PIA for them to print those. We know they prefer the "cash on the spot" instead of the tip line. 😉

It was on deck one on Brilliance when I broke my foot (unfortunately first night of 7 night cruise). 😞 Have a pretty good memory of that place down there. 😮

As long as they let me in for my morning coffee...I am good to go. Love the VCL on Serenade for happy hour. 🥰

I could not score a suite. Not even a JS. I will be getting just one point per day. And that won't really get me anything anyway. 😉

Wow...profiling much? Sorry but you don't know me. And we don't use the DL (now CL) what's left of actual CLs or SL for drinks at all. We are the sneaky ones that prefer the common lounges. Beware...we may be sitting next to you, and you don't know it. 😄

Not when you use a voucher. We tip a buck for each drink...each time. And I tip for the 1-3 bottles of water I get in the SL as well. I always to the bank before a cruise to get packs of dollar bills. Much easier than "begging" for them at CS or the casino.

At least you knew where to find us to invite us in...and we always enjoyed the company! Miss you two!

I always ask for 2-3 bottles after lunch in CK, walking up to the SL bar. And of course give the bartender a tip each time. 🙂

Me too. Just back from 23 nights on a river cruise, with Viking. Not sure why the chefs insist on over thinking the entrees. Way too much exotic spice and sauce plied on everything. Simple, to me...is the best. If you have good quality food...let it take spotlight! Back home with comfort food again...ahhhh!! And I am quite sure there was simple whole milk in the Lattes and Cappuccinos. 😉

LOL...so now the former "DL" is a CL. 😄

OMG...yes! Lord Timothy and Bucky got along really well. They were so funny together. Loved...loved when we were pulling into Nassau around 11:30 am for the "Upper tier" party on little Monarch. They really did it up right with all the drinks, especially the Bloody Marys, shooters, and the really good snacks (including sushi!). The Diamond Event we first went to, and went to a lot after that was on Freedom in the forward Star Lounge. Wow...we all had so much fun! 🙂 Miss those days.

Much like when Diamonds were kicked out of the Concierge Lounges (which were the only lounges at that time...no separate loyalty lounges). Then later came the "Diamond Event"...normally held in one of the open lounges for 3 hours. No coffee machine, no keyed entry. Just bar mix, beer, wine and bubbly. But we had the best time at those!

Mmmm...I do love the taco bar. Pretty cool watching the crew member load the tortilla dough into the machine. Nice and fresh!

Me too. Was best when it was still a tendered port stop. Was still natural and peaceful. If I want Disney World...I will drive to Orlando.

Unless you go to Barefoot Beach...then it is still tough to find something yummy...but can still happen.
