  1. But still has not cruised. Still no personal experience.
  2. Ok...thanks...that makes sense. 🙂 I might make two payments then. Fourth leg more pricey than 1st leg. $$
  3. Keep in mind you are talking about someone that does not even cruise any longer. 😉
  4. LOL...I had to up my credit card limit. 😄
  5. I seriously doubt there will be a lot of newbies boarding on the new smaller legs. The ship was pretty much sold out even when they offered the four legs. Very limited cabins, mostly inside or "port hole" cabins left. Nothing JS and up...and still none...I have been checking.
  6. LOL...I can't even book anything over a balcony...and I had booked at 5 am on the day the legs were offered (next cruise lady called me in my cabin on Odyssey). Individual legs don't get additional freebies that whole cruise pax do either.
  7. Me too. $$$ already paid off 1st leg..ouch! 😮
  8. Dave, we have received 100 OBC on different ships booking with NC...but was during promos only. Ironic there was no OBC for booking the pricey World Cruise. 😮
  9. All I got was the 250.00 OBC for "over 14 days" from RCI stock for the first leg (62 days). Nada, nothing for OBC from RCI, even with booking with Next Cruise on board.
  10. Totally agree...important to soak a bit. I let several pieces at a time soak in my laundry tub....then, agitate well, take out one at a time to rinse in sink, roll, and dry.
  11. Two things may be making the CLS the same as a GS. 1. The aft facing cabins you listed are noisier on the balcony with no privacy, since it faces the sports area with the "boom...boom...boom" loud music and sports activities. 2. Some don't like the interior stairs to get to the bedroom with CLS cabins. IMHO...I love the location of the CLS cabins, and enjoyed ours...but still would prefer the layout of the GS instead, which is our go to cabin on Oasis class. Problem solved with Wonder though, best of both worlds. 🙂
  12. Not sure. Never bothered to check since we suddenly became a B2B2B versus a "first leg". And no plans on changing cabins anyway...unless I can finally upgrade (fat chance of that happening).
  13. Sorry...and I was just being silly. Bad Island lady...bad girl. I will go hide in a corner now.
  14. We are fans of the VCL bar. Was shocked to see it actually rotating on Jewel last month. 🙂 Can't remember it rotating on Brilliance.
  15. Thanks. And thank goodness we are not all alike. Can you imagine the world with only one flavor of ice cream? 😄 We are currently about to finish up a B2B2B (Voyager) which is pretty common for us. Already those 21 days are feeling too short. Wonder B2B in the Med a couple of months ago, followed by the 2 week TA (total 48 days) also flew by for us. Not to mention we will only be home 5 days on Sunday (laundry time!) until we board Jewel for B2B.
  16. Won't be a total dry dock. They are now simply doing "updating" as they go along...with pax on board.
  17. You do realize you don't have to book the whole 274 days...right? 😏 They first offered the whole thing at 274 nights, with the choice cabins (JS and above) disappearing fast. Then, after initial offering of the whole thing they came out with the 4 legs (we are leg one and leg four...both 62 nights each). Now...they have broken it up even further. Our first quarter leg is now broken up into 3 legs, with 3 different reservation numbers. So I guess it is officially now a B2B2B for that former "1st leg".
  18. I put it in the tub/shower, fill with water add detergent and mix in a few pieces of clothes...let is soak for a few minutes. Then I rinse in the sink. I got it on Amazon. Search for collapsible tub. Mine looks like this:
  19. Oh yeah...go for that liquid lunch. 😄 🍺
  20. No one seemed to get into the spirit of "white nights". Formal nights...meh...a few people dressing to the max, but rare. The other night was "dress your best". Just meant less shorts, tank tops, ball caps and "wife beater" t-shirts in the dining room. 😑 Have not tried to do substitutions in the dining room. Though they are pretty good with helping to change for food allergies
  21. Indeed. So all we do is toss in a white shirt each, which we could wear anytime...but are now prepared in case they call theme on that. Which seems to be on every cruise we have been on lately, but then again we are on 7 night cruises. Not sure what they do on the shorter cruises.
  22. We will be dressed in nice clothing, but no tuxes or gowns. Happy Valentines day! 💘
