  1. DH is a "Jr.". Part of his legal name, and is on his passport. Cannot enter "Jr." with online RCI check in for set sail. Sometimes they catch it during check in at the terminal, sometimes not. Even if they do, it takes only a couple of minutes to take care of the difference. Never really an issue.
  2. Keep in mind boarding time is totally different than assigned check in time at the terminal. Sure, you can try to get there early and jump ahead in line of passengers that are keeping to their assigned check in time to enter the terminal....but then again....you may be waved off to stand and wait. No seats outside to sit on.
  3. If you live in the area (as I do), I don't need a rental car, hotel, and just visit for the day. Don't need a week. One day at that zoo is enough.
  4. Opposite end of where the ship docks. Used to be a nice place to walk to on an actual nature trail. Great spot to sit up on the bluff to view the ship tendered just off shore. Sigh...gone are the days.
  5. Only time that happened was during restart post Covid. They actually had 4 ships hanging out there, to transfer crew back and forth to the "quarantine" ships. We had Rhapsody, and three Oasis class ships there at once. Two docked, two tendered.
  6. Two ships...never three. Pier cannot take more than two. But that being said, the ships are getting bigger and bigger going there. Not a fan of the over crowded and commercialized little island any longer. Miss the natural setting when it used to be a tendered island. If I want theme park....I will save the money and go to Orlando.
  7. Our heavy days are days at sea. We usually stop for a bloody mary for the upper tier (since they don't offer them any longer like in the "good old days"), then wine with lunch, drinks at happy hour, and wine with dinner. Still keeps us under the voucher limit...but close to wondering where the AA chapter might be located back home. 😄
  8. Exactly what we do as well. Bought two extremely wild flower print hard cases from Tumi online, picking the most wild colors I could. Very easy to spot. 🙂
  9. Voyager does TAD, disembarkation day breakfast in Chops as well. 6:30 versus 7:30 opening.
  10. Just finished leg #1 on Voyager, am now onto leg #2, and will be on next week as well. Loving the Voyager. Especially after the disappointment of Jewel B2B last month.
  11. Had a balcony (due to wanting favorite aft corner 9256) on Serenade. Received robes.
  12. I use all three wash choices on longer trips. Hand wash (I bring collapsible tub) then roll in towels to drip dry, and hang on hangers from magnet hooks from the ceiling. Wash and fold (AKA "boil and fry") for cotton undies, exercise shorts/shirts, and socks. You do NOT want to put anything delicate in that bag. Suggest no whites...they will come back gray. Dry cleaning for really longer trips for dress clothes that I like to have pressed.
  13. No, it is not. Only time was TAD for consecutive cruisers lunch, and will be open ( I assume anyway) for the two sea days we will have next week. But is open for breakfast every day.
  14. I am wondering if it was then the Key next, or suites, or Pinnies. Didn't witness any flames coming up from behind us...so not sure how it went. 😄
  15. Same with us. Mostly the cabin attendants, furiously running around getting cabins ready, already know us .....giving us a wave and smile. Of course today, since we had such a horrible time getting our luggage last Sunday (unusual)....I just had to tease our cabin attendant..."Hey...where is our luggage?" Yeah, he had a good laugh on that one. 😄
  16. Though one day on TAD while waiting to reboard Harmony, we consecutive cruisers were all seated towards the front inside the terminal (which is odd, since they usually separate us). When they signaled to have us start boarding, the rush of "The Key" pax was unreal. They started yelling and stamping their feet that they should be the first to board. Yikes. 🙄
  17. Currently on Voyager starting our 2nd leg of our B2B2B. The MDR is open for breakfast every day, even on port days.
  18. Thanks my friend! Cheers back at 'cha, and hello to Kathy for us!! 😘
  19. There is no CK on Serenade. You will be using the CL (being in a full suite, not a JS), or your choice of the DL (due to you being Diamond). In the CL...you can do suite's free drinks, but only during official happy hour in there. Just be sure to tell them not to charge your vouchers for those. In the DL (drinks only served during happy hour), or in any bar around the ship (at any time) you have a limit of four per person, per day.... at 14.00 and under for no charge.
  20. Yes, I believe there was a comedian on the last night in the theater...but we did not go. Actually just the ice show we have been to. Will try to do more shows this week. Food for us in the MDR (first traditional seating) has been decent, though many are complaining about the intro of the new menu that came out last week. I am finding interesting new dishes to try, and especially enjoying the nightly Indian food choices, plus a few Vegan dishes...though the separate Vegan menu with a lot more choices (on the app) is no longer available. Every night is "theme" night now. We eat in Chops for breakfast every day, and it has been basically quite good. Food better than the service sometime. Lunch has been out and about, since we are very port heavy on these PR cruises.
  21. Currently finishing leg #1 on our B2B2B on Voyager. Have not really gone to a lot of the entertainment, the shows are not what you find on the really large ships, but the ice show IMHO was good. And yes, no reservations needed. But do arrive early. The first ice show of last week was way overcrowded, many pax standing in the back and stairway, we gave up and left. 2nd show of the week, lots of seat available even at starting time. We had second row seats in front section. Nice!
