Oh you would have loved this. On Jewel last week, we were in the designated "Pinnacle lounge" which was really just a sectioned off area of the VCL for 2 hours, (which did not mean much to us, since we would have been at the bar in there anyway)......this double family group waltzed in past the obvious sign, and then sat as a group in that area. With the "blue" and not gold cards on their lanyard...Ok, not Pinnacle. Whatever. Then...both of the adult males lit up Vape pens and did not give a crap that they were inside. I finally had to point them out to the CL that was in there with blinders on...Ummm...excuse me? 😐

Point taken, and I can attest that many are indeed broken...but breaking the rules....still not cool. Unfortunately for the human race....rules do not apply to the selfish. To down play it as que sera sera...speaks volumes of society we live in. Still does not make it right.

Coco Cay pier is designed for a max of two ships. The question is....what size those two ships may be that day. We were just there on little Jewel, with Freedom next to us. The island felt half empty....loved it that way. 😉

And that makes it right when pax ignore that rule? They are called inconsiderate "Chair Hogs"....but that is another entirely (and very popular) subject on CC. 😉

Exactly this ^ The rules clearly state no smoking in cabins or balconies, including vaping, cigarettes, cigars, etc. I don't care about the opinions (that go on and on about whether Vaping is harmful or not)...it's not the point. It's against the rules. Don't like the rules...don't cruise with RCI...simple.

Multiple injuries indeed had happened with those trailing life jacket belts on the stairs, with pax tripping on them. Not sure if one or more sued RCI, but I heard some stories about it. RCI's explanation: Don't need to be taught to put on your life jacket, if you are already wearing it when you get to the station.

Have been on quite a few cruises since restart. Love, love the new emuster....hope it does not go away. That being said, every single leg of every cruise we have been on, the usual multiple announcements come just as sail away time is near. Captain is telling us that there are still pax that have not presented themselves to their muster station. Come on people, how simple can they make it? Those that refuse to do that simple thing in due time..... need to be sent to the hot decks in the sun, standing like sardines for 20-30 minutes with their life jackets on. Yes, the one with no cell phone use, no drinks, and no food. That may just remind them to adhere a bit earlier as requested in the future. 😉

Unfortunately the soot on the suite's sun deck is a real problem. Bucky had a brand new pair of expensive shorts he uses as cover up ruined when soot burned a hole in them. They were laying on chair next to him while he was in his bathing suit, and did not notice in time. The deck can be really covered in the nasty stuff sometimes. Bad design with stack location.

Yes. The Tagliatelle is supposed to have sun dried tomatoes on it....and once again came with strips of pepper only (which I detest). The peppers over powered the whole thing. Was OK for Bucky, who loves peppers...not for me. I don't mind the cream based sauce, but still could not taste it past the peppers.
