  1. This makes a whole lot more sense than a bunch of 12 yo"s hacking the system.
  2. Check again under the fine print. A voucher is used for the 40% off bottles of wine. Drink vouchers may also be used toward a discount off the purchase of any bottle of wine — 20% off bottles over $100 and 40% off bottles under $100. Point #5 https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/crown-and-anchor-society-benefit-grid.pdf
  3. It was in the latest update of the C&A benefits within the last 2 months and now listed on the benefits page on the website
  4. Several people reported that glitch yesterday. it was not just you.
  5. The other thing that I have seen is that you are moved temporarily out of your stateroom while they reclassify the cabin and then moved back in to the same cabin. It has to do with system limitations where they cannot change the category if the room is occupied.
  6. The only ones I have seen in the past 5 1/2 years were some Junior suites on one of the Oasis class ships over a very short time period pre Covid in what looked like to be a test that was being done as it was so limited (one ship and a very small date range)
  7. That should be easily enough fixed. Your price was just automatically changed to the current rate when they changed your category. It just needs manual intervention to special fare and price protect your booking. This is common in situations like this. Quite likely it is already in a queue waiting to be processed and most people who never checked would not even notice the price had increased and then was fixed. That being said I would still call to get it corrected. Unfortunately about the cabin you are pretty much at their mercy on that one.
  8. Your right, it doesn't have to be but it is an integral part of Royals business model and profitability. In fact if you look at the other mainstream cruise lines you will find they all have private islands. There are other lines out there for those that seek something different.
  9. Nope. All group space is recalled either at the 180 day review or at the latest 120 days to sailing.
  10. Royal take back all space that TA's are holding...and it is space only not actual rooms 120 days prior to sailing. This in now way affects the inventory for Royal Up
  11. Depended on the ship. Several started pre Covid while the rest followed after the restart
  12. Understand that but those one off delays happened long before they went to the assigned times
  13. In the 10 cruises I've done since the start up I've yet to see a case where Royal has issued a check in time of 10:30 and not started boarding until 11:30. The latest I've seen them start boarding has been 10:45 which basically means that if you show up at your scheduled time you are walking right on the ship after spending a bit of time going through security and check in. I think its pretty safe too use the two terms interchangeably. For those ships where they intend a later boarding time they have a later check in time.
  14. Change the app to this weeks sailing on the Allure and then you can see the different restaurants and their open hours
  15. It was full by 11:30am on our sailing in December. They directed people to the open lot nearby.
