Ken at the beach

In the air and wifi purchased. We originally were going to fly in the day of the sailing but that was cutting it way too tight so I found a cheap hotel by the airport. Then we had 4 pm flights arriving at 7pm so just arrive have dinner and sleep. Then our flights were changed to 10:30 am arriving at 1:30 so kow we have time to kill. At breakfast I found a rental car through Avis for $100 (more than the hotel) so we will go exploring in Houston Definitely need to get our picture taken at the "I love Houston sign"....those that know, know.😉

With sll yhe other restrictions gone there is not as much need for it anymore. Perhaps they will keep it but not enforce it. It would still help spread out the majority of people.

Not sure if it's the same shuttle or not. Since this is a complimentary cruise they are providing shuttles but I'm not sure how they will compare to the ones the week after. Im guessing they will be Dimitar. We have been told which baggage carousel to meet at..that's sll I know for now.

Absolutely. Probably would be similar to how boarding was pre covid with no check in times. People tend to spread outvyhrouhout the day but for sure there would be a few more earlier on. We've slways had thr earliest boarding time but no one ever checked so it didnt seem to me like they were enforcing it.

Sorry, they don't on a regular basis. It is only for this sailing that they are providing gomplimentary shuttles.

Nothing like a burger at 8 in tje morning as you are at the airport heading out for a cruise. Skipped having breakfast st 5 am when we left home so I was pretty hungry and sbout halfway through the burger before I remembered to take a photo. Flying into Houston, staying overnight by IAH and then taking the free shuttle Royal is providing to Galvsston in the morning. Boarding Allure for the 4 day trade event sailing to Cozumel. I had John send me his 8 day drink list from his Mariner sailing....going to see how much of a dent I can put in thst in 4 days.

You can still change ship and sail date for a $100pp fee.

You must wait for it to be officially assigned and then call and just say that you want to change from room xxx to room yyy. (new room must be in the excat same category not just another inside or balcony...4v to a 4v etc. Don't mention that it was a guarantee.

You must wait for it to be officially assigned (actually see your cabin number on your booking and not through reading the barcode) Then it can only be switched to the exact same category, in your case another CI stateroom.

Once a gty has been officially assigned it can be changed to any other available rooms in the exact staeroom category
