News conference just completed. Thermal imaging camera had a heat source recorded from a DEA aircraft during the night. He was found under a woodpile and the K9 dogs did their job. He was bitten as he tried to escape the dogs. He also acquired an Eagles sweatshirt somewhere. Kudos to all law enforcement officers involved.

His shoes and hoodie and t shirt were found in the driveway of the house where he stole the rifle. The garage was open because the owner was inside it, they believe Danelo did not know he was there. When he grabbed the rifle the owner managed to get off several shots from a pistol. Roads in the area are closed and residents are asked to stay inside. Hopefully it will end soon.

FYI, the American Legion building fire just happened this past Sunday. It was deemed arson and the person responsible was arrested. It was a great loss for the community.

I remember being at work on 9/11 after having been to the beach for a long weekend A close family friend had a son working in the Pentagon and was unable to contact him for quite some time. Good cloudy and 99% humidity morning. We had a thunderstorm last night for over an hour and more storms are expected today. The hunt goes on for the escaped prisoner. He had somehow managed to get out of the area and was seen on a surveillance camera near Phoenixville last night. He had shaved and gotten ahold of a car, he has family there and also his victim’s family there. I grew up in my grandparents house and still live there today. Good 70 degree morning but with 98% humidity. More storms are expected today. It’s supposed to get up to 88 this afternoon. It’s now day 8 and the hunt for the escaped prisoner continues. Longwood gardens was open briefly yesterday until a sighting was discovered on a trail cam in the woods. The gardens were evacuated and are now closed until further notice. Good stormy evening, we’re having a severe thunderstorm with lots of lightning and thunder and rain . The temperature has dropped from 94 to 70. The cats are not happy with the thunder. Stay safe.

The escaped convict is still on the run, more sightings last night including one on a camera at Longwood. The garden is closed on a Tuesday regularly. Schools in the area are closed . Went out for dinner to Applebees because it was too hot to grill I didn’t realize it was a special kids eat free promotion for Labor Day, it was crowded. @dfish, that’s really scary about River, no child should have to live with that kind of environment.
