Good hot and humid afternoon. It’s currently 90 with a real feel of106. Happy Birthday USA 🇺🇸 and also MS Nieuw Amsterdam. I remember watching the ceremony on the website. I’m not sure if I will make the steak on the grill tonight or wait until it is cooler. Just to hot outside. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Well this day just got even worse. Came home from running errands to find about 6 police cars and the coroner van parked in front of our block. Apparently one of my neighbors ended his life 💔

Well no trip to the vet today. Apparently they never put it in their system, even though we have a card with it on. Just have to reschedule, wasn’t looking forward to getting him in the carrier anyway. The one receptionist that handled appointments recently retired and the new people are still learning.

Good sunny and humid morning. Like Denise T we had storms and tornado warnings last night, more rain expected today. Trouble has a routine vet appointment this afternoon and we’ll also discuss Houdini with him.🤞🐾 On a happy note. Nieuw Amsterdam officially becomes a teenager tomorrow. Good cloudy and still smoky evening. AQI is down to 109. Happy Canada 🇨🇦 Day. I’ve been to Halifax twice. I really liked Peggy’s Cove and the Titanic cemetery. I’m asking for prayers for a friend from church, B has some possibly serious medical problems and just wants privacy for now. I’m not that much a fan of wings , but I do like the oven roasted and seasoned wings at Anthony’ s Coal Fired Pizza. This is a chain that started in Florida. The original wings are served with sautéed onions and focaccia bread. Blessed and prayers to all on our lists.

Good sunny and smoky morning. AQI is currently 156, with an alert until midnight. Hopefully it will improve soon. I’ve been to PEI on the Maasdam . I did an island tour that included Anne and stopped at the bridge. I guess I should wear my Cow’s T shirt today or find my visor with the red dirt in it. @Crazy For CatsI hope Jasper’s trip to the vet is uneventful. It sounds like possibly a thyroid problem. Good sunny afternoon. The air has improved slightly for now but the warning is still in effect until tomorrow morning. I have several old cameras that film is no longer available for. I basically just use my phone. Houdini’s blood work for his thyroid was not good. The level has increased so for now the medication will be increased for 30 days, then more bloodwork. Vet is concerned it could be more than thyroid . I won’t put him thru any extensive treatment.He was very upset in the car and was trembling and breathing heavily. We think he was afraid he was not coming home.

Good news : The cow 🐄 has been captured this morning. She’s safe and sound. 🎉

In a more humorous note, an “agressive cow” was spotted on the Main Street and then on the campus of Kutztown University on Sunday evening . It disappeared and was seen later in a town about 20 minutes away. The cow was seen again last night on the edge of the campus but disappeared again into the woods. Kutztown is about 30 minutes away from me and probably not that far from @Oceansaway17. They have advised people not to approach the cow.

I’ve been to Cozumel several times over the years Therapy today was Ok, did get the brace, not very comfortable, supposed to try it for an hour each day. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good evening, just waiting for the rain and thunderstorms to start, radar says in 5 minutes. I’m still waiting for the splint at therapy, he said he will have it next time. Sweet dreams to all.

Good cloudy and humid morning with more rain and storms coming this afternoon. Therapy is scheduled for 11 Amanda then Houdini had a routine nurse vet appointment for bloodwork this afternoon.
