    It used to be pretty customary that they didn't charge the corkage fee but I've also heard that lately they are enforcing it. Perhaps due to trying to make up for the Covid debt. So just to be on the safe side, we bring our glass of wine with us to dinner.

    That's what we do. Works great. Just make yourself a generous pour for dinner and you have the equivalent of two glasses for the meal! We usually have wine glasses in the cabin already when we arrive but if not, simply have the cabin steward bring you some.

    On the two Reflection cruises we've been on they also had cold cuts, cheeses and smoked salmon as proteins if that makes any difference for you. I'm not sure they do that on all sailings as we've haven't been on that many.

    I like the Sky View Lounge. Perfect venue for this.

    Thanks for posting. I'm glad this is happening although I'd rather see the nightly one (except embarkation day) like they used to have which was stopped during Covid. Also, I notice she doesn't mention Hors D’oeuvres like they used to have. They had some nice snacks! I enjoy having the get-together with fellow frequent cruisers.

    Don't they vary from ship-to-ship? Sometimes from day-to-day as well.

    Yep. First it was Honey Stung Chicken and now Tuttie..... Next it'll be the Ranger cookies

    When they used to have the Tuttie salad bar at lunch in the main dining room (pre-covid), I would go up and simply request prosciutto and feta cheese only. I would get a weird look, but they complied, and I would take it back to my table and enjoy....

    No (if you're young) Yes, if you're old like me (but I still walk it. LOL) They have shuttles to take you all around the island. It might be a good idea to ride it all the way around first before you choose a place. It's quite large. No problem getting 10,000 steps in if that's your thing.

    We actually liked the taco/burrito bar (not the attacking birds though), so we get off, eat lunch at the taco bar and go back to the ship and have a drink in the hot tub in the solarium (pretty much to ourselves!)

    Ditto. Thanks CocoCay. Having said that, I think RCL added another private island so they could have an extra stop for their mega ships that can't go to many ports. Afterall, the mega ship is pretty much a destination in itself.

    We always ask for paper too so we can scribble on it. Another nice feature though that you may not have noticed is that you can download the compass in PDF form by scanning the code on the TV. It's nice to have the PDF copy as it's easy to read on the phone and then saved to your digital cruise pictures for future reference.

    Me too!! I skip all the hot food and load up on prosciutto, cheese and crackers (with my wine).

    Yuk. Worst fish in the world in my opinion. Not healthy, over-farmed, cheap, includes over 100 species of fish so there is no consistency. Often fed feces from other fish on farms.

    Not new but also not standard. I've seen cookies on most cruises in the afternoon. Sometimes mini sandwiches & such. We have seen a nice continental breakfast on most cruises we've been on. Not sure if it's standard as we always eat breakfast in the main dining room.
