  1. I know it works vice versa. We booked our current three Celebrity Cruises while on board the Adventure last May. Surprising that Celebrity perks were much better than Royal's.
  2. I've been on a few Celebrity cruises and have never gotten the free I-Phone with my pad & pencil.
  3. I hope it's not per day per person.
  4. Additional taxes could be from port itinerary changes. We have received credits when ports were skipped due to weather. My understanding is that port charges include both port fees and taxes which are charged to the cruise line per person. Cruise lines pass this on to cruisers The cruise line is required to refund those if a port is skipped. Perhaps a particular port raised it's fee after final payment and the cruise line passed it on?
  5. Yes, this is common. You sit closer to the person next to you than the person you are dining with. You might as well enjoy the company of others at a larger table. LOL
  6. Could it be adjustments on the port fees? I think they might change from time to time. Also, if itineraries change, so will the port fees. For instance, I've had minor credits added to my account when a port was missed due to inclement weather.
  7. They varied quite a bit but some were a little fancy for my taste. I'm happy with some cold cuts, cheese & crackers.... LOL Some of the canapes would include smoked salmon, shrimp etc... You get the idea. A server would come around with a tray and you just pointed to the ones you wanted. Unlike the buffet style in the Diamond Lounge on Royal.
  8. Most of the discussion in this thread has been about the drinks. Without the nightly HH, and now (assuming) with dedicated lounges a couple times per cruise, no more pupu's. I personally liked the pupu's, drinks and camaraderie the nightly HH provided. Sorry to see it gone but happy some of it has come back. No flames please. Just personal opinion.
  9. Agree. Satisfies both those who like the event and those who'd rather go somewhere else. Prevents over-crowding as well.
  10. We'll be getting off as you are getting on. We probably won't get to see it till we board another cruise in March.
  11. Of course, my comment was firmly tongue in cheek as many of my comments are LOL... I take from your use of the term pupu's and your screen name that you may have spent some time at Pearl? I was at Fleet Training Group there from 1984 till my retirement in 1988. I stayed a couple more years at a garbage burning power plant at Ewa Beach. 73's ...
  12. Are you booing the boo birds?
  13. I guess I'm confused. The Elite Plus benefit is unlimited rinks between 5-7 daily (anywhere except Martini Bar etc). There are a few days designated to Elite Plus in a specific lounge which will also be between 5-7 so I'm not getting what you are saying. The drinks are the same no matter where you get them.
  14. You get the premium drink package and drink Boone's Farm?? 🙂
  15. Unless you want to join us for some camaraderie and chit chat!!! We always get the drink package so we don't need it either, but we like to socialize with frequent cruisers.
  16. It still doesn't say in addition to daily drinks. It just means you can go elsewhere. Same unlimited drinks, same hours.
  17. The Sky Lounge was pretty empty except for events (only two cruises for reference so I could be wrong). Triva during the day and then late evening events like Silent Disco or live music.
  18. I reread the email you posted and I don't see where it says that.
  19. Headline: "Historic Annie Green Springs Brand to Return to Market"
  20. Our TA has gifted us wine but never two bottles. Not sure it's "pricey" either...
  21. I wonder if it's acceptable to drink from the bottle in a brown paper bag?
