  1. Of course, there will be no "age limit", lol. Clearly, RCI is going for the younger demographic--I found it humorous. Teddie
  2. They're all really good looking too. It's a marketing video, so that's to be expected. Obvi. I was going for humor.... 🙂 Teddie
  3. Didja notice that every single virtual adult in this video appear to be 30 and under? I wonder if there will be an age LIMIT! 🤣 Teddie
  4. "Non-stop DJ" is a hard pass for us. I'll risk the screaming kid... Teddie
  5. Apparently, shorts included 🙂 Teddie
  6. We also found things we liked on the Anthem this past February, but it wasn't the same as coming away from what we found were excellent to occasionally fabulous meals in the MDR on RCI cruises we took 5+ years ago. I realize things change, and even expect them to. It's just so drastically noticeable to us. Teddie
  7. I've never had a problem with bringing my flat iron on board...my GHD worked fine on multiple ships including most recently, the Anthem--I wonder what the issue was for yours? Steamers and clothes irons get sent to the naughty room, but curling irons/flat irons are permitted. Teddie
  8. I can't help but think that new cruisers who have no experience with what once was may actually think the food is great.... As long as the cabins continue to get sold, I don't believe RCI would notice or care if the once-loyal stopped booking. Teddie
  9. Past cruises (5+ years ago), I found all of the beef dishes to be especially excellent, so that's sad news. Teddie
  10. In comparison to my past cruises, I agree with your ratings range. My own eating habits have changed over the years, and I am less obsessed than I used to be about my next meal 🙂 Teddie
  11. We last cruised in February after a 5+ year break. Impressions: service was lovely, portions smaller; food a bit blander. DH is not too fussy, and always found something to eatt/enjoy. I had several of the Indian cuisine options and thought they were great. If you are a true foodie/gourmand, you likely wouldn't be thrilled. Teddie
  12. Explorer was our very first cruise back in 2003. How's she looking? Teddie
  13. It is what it is. I've stated my feelings and opinion. You are entitled to yours. Teddie
  14. Of course it's not OK. But in the grand scheme of things, I can't help my feelings. Teddie
  15. I'm trying really hard to have empathy for you here. But after reading of all the devastation and loss, maybe it's a bit too raw or too soon to feel for you. Teddie
  16. A+ with extra points for all the sweating. Loved every moment. Teddie
  17. Is yours a guided tour? Ours was the ride to and from the ship, including admission, but no formal tour. We made sure to check out the KSC website before sailing to explore the exhibits, and prioritize the ones that we didn’t want to miss since it wasn’t a full day in port. We had a great time and will be returning next cruise. teddie
  18. Heck! I was sweating just reading it!! Great accomplishment, and your storytelling is hilarious! teddie.
  19. Sure! Just when you get me drooling over the food porn, you stop! Enjoy your sea day--it sounds as if it is well-deserved, with the poo talk and the sweating and all 🙂 Patiently waiting. Teddie
  20. Thanks 🙂 Our previous cruise included the balcony discount, the percent-off promo, and the state resident discount. I promise, I am not making this up. I have found that the RCI rep info is not consistent. Teddie
  21. That isn’t true with our Diamond status. We received the balcony discount in addition to the current 30% RCI promo for our Nov 23 sailing. teddie
  22. Very much enjoying your report! It's great fun 🙂 Teddie
