Yes.  Celebrity is in Miami; I am in Chicago...so I checked in at 11pm local time (midnight on the east coast).

At that early time, I was able to get 11am-11:30am.  I'll take it 👍

Yes…I was able to do it for myself and travel companions in two other cabins since we are all linked.

So glad to have you along!  I’ve looked at all the menus and they are much better in terms of variety and number of options than they were when we were on Equinox in July. Have to agree, some of those dishes do sound exotic. Anyway, I’ll definitely be posting lots of food pics!

 

Oh, and what did you think of the Canada firing?  About time?  DH says we need to find a sports bar when we get back to FLL for our turn around day so he can watch the game. I gave him rolley eyes  like this 🙄. 

I’m the parrot lady 😉.  Sinbad is my bestie…I don’t let on until the last possible moment that I am leaving…as soon as he spots the luggage, all bets are off!  I do think he suspects that I am leaving in two weeks 🚢.

Ascent arrived by 5am this morning according to the port schedule…doesn’t show that she has left yet.

That will be me in three weeks…CANNOT WAIT 😎

My parrot doesn’t want to be left behind either!

Have you considered a Sunset Verandah?  Large traditional balcony with beautiful views of the ship’s wake.

I just did a quick search of that apartment and it looks great.  We don’t sail until 2025 but will definitely look into it this time next year when we would be able to book it.

Ditto…if you have the opportunity, Duke’s in the hotel has delicious food.  We did the buffet after the Diamond Head hike.

They are lucky to be within driving distance from home to the cruise port so it is likely if it fits in the car, it goes along.

The SV is worth the cost.  The wake views are amazing.

Lawn Club Grill vs Tuscan is like apples vs oranges.  Both delicious but different menu options and different settings.  That said, we love LCG and have that booked on both parts of our B2B on Silhouette in April.  

I am a burger lover…will gladly pay for lunch at LCG (along with dinner).  Besides the fabulous burger and fries, there is also the out of this world warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream topping 😋.

How about a sunset verandah on Apex?  

I’m happy to hear you were able to visit Sorrento, which is my all time favorite place on the planet.  I enjoyed my favorite pizza there by doing just what you did…pick a street and wander until you spot food paradise.  I am not a foodie…a slice (or several 😉) makes me a happy traveler.
