  1. We began in Honolulu on 4/26 so were sailing into early May.  The temps were great…warm and sunny.  We did spend some time in the Solarium one day midway across when it was windy.  We booked side by side SVs so we could enjoy beautiful sunsets as we sailed east to Vancouver.

I think I’m now understanding where we’re going off the rails.  I think most that say lines like Azaramara are the same including price are ones that are booking the more expensive accommodations.  If you’re getting equal value on all these premium lines, the power be with you.

I’m speaking for the poor shlubs that book regular balconies and IV’s.  I did a Azamara Onward mock booking on a similar itinerary we booked on Celebrity and it came out to almost double on what we paid on Celebrity.

For the class we book, there is no way lines like Azamara are the same as Celebrity

As you didn’t include “LOL” after your reference to “the poor schlubs”, I can only assume that you truly believe that those of us hard-working individuals who sail solo in an SV (and are darn lucky to be able to do so) should bow and scrape when you or your contemporaries pass us in the hallway.

Yes it can but the prices are extremely HIGH.   It will be shown as an option once on the ship under Wifi and discounted by your CC level.

On my last cruise with the Zenith Discount ( Elite Plus get a 35% discount not sure what they used for Zenith as we get free internet as a benefit) the price was $24.98 for 24 hours.   It is Premium Wifi they do not sell the basic on a hourly or daily basis.

Thanks Jim.  I think I’ll just pretend that I am back to traveling without technology…no phone; no internet; no problem! 😉

Yes, I do.   When Celebrity initially switched to cartons and then aluminum for the basic water, do you really believe that this was to save money?  I do not see how that change could possible save money.

Removing the aluminum water cans will certainly save money.

It will also eliminate the possibility of cuts on fingers when attempting to open the bottle…and on lips when drinking.

I would take a few additional points.

After my 3 booked cruises I will still be 126 points shy of Elite+.

    😄

I sail as a solo so double points earned…after 4 upcoming cruises, I’ll still be about 150 points short of Elite +. There has to be an easier way to get free laundry! 😱
