Legend - March Crossing - booking complete...

Thanks to those who were able to answer my questions! Today I have booked the march crossing on the Legend. :D

Is anyone else booked?

I would like recommendations on Pre-cruise hotels in St Thomas. I see that Seabourn uses the Ritz Carlton, but I am finding some bad reviews on different hotel forums for that location....

PS Martita, you are going on the wrong yacht! ;););)

Hmmmmmm this must be the "non-repeaters" spring crossing...... :o Will we be all alone on this cruise??? ;)

Another question........are there any hotels or resorts that are recommended in Portugal, or should we do a stopover in London before coming back to the states?

Matt~~~as our 2005 Pride Crossing will be the 4th in a row for many of us AND as the hostess for the "Royal Affair" I need to "stay put!" I've worked on our "Royal Gala" since last April.........dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's!

As you have probably guessed, I do indeed enjoy having the gala's on the Crossing's.......just too much fun! The 2006 gala's theme will be "Tickled Pink".......yep, that's right! Should be a riot! The ship is already"selling out!"

I know you will have a wonderful Legend Crossing.....we'll sweep for 'yall and you might keep an eye out for "crowns and tiara's" floating in the Atlantic!

Matt~~~~a favorite party on our Pride Crossing's are "The Champagne/Caviar" Pajama Morning Socials!" Take your invitations and invite your friends to come to your suite in their PAJAMAS.......many come in their white terry robes! Just visit with the Maitre'd and he will do the rest! Alert the ship photographer!

Great fun!

Matt,

We're now booked for the Legend crossing. Originally, we were booked on the Pride, but we're planning to stay on for the cruise from Lisbon to Monte Carlo, beginning on April 7th. (Really sorry, Martita, that we will be missing you all, but the dates worked out better for us on the Legend.)

Regards,

Denyse (bldsld)

Matt~~~~I'm sure the March Legend Cross will also be a sell-out! You'll be right behind us! The weather is always wonderful.........sunny, warm days as our route is the Southern one. Last year we needed to make a "pit stop" in Bermuda, but hopefully this year it'll be a straight shot from Ft. Laud to Funchal! Easy, smooth seas.

The Crossing's are always so very special......you will make life long friends and the voyage will be unforgettable! I bet you book the March 2006 while on board!

Take your "stuffed animal"......there may be a party for the critters! (we always need an excuse for a gala! hahaha)

Happy New Year!

Matt~~~On Thursday before we left on Monday (last March) we had a slight 'lit boiler-maker problem, so we needed to stop in St. George to correct the problem......(I believe, after "diggin'", this info is right) but, we all loved St. George! A few of us want to go back and spend a week.......wonderful, friendly folks and this side of the Island is picture postcard perfect!

You are in for a REAL treat! Sea days on Seabourn are pure bliss! Why don't you plan a "stuffed animal" party.......it's "fun and phooey!" Everyone brings their critter's and they have honored seats on the baby grand piano......then it's cocktails and visiting! (as I mentioned, "an excuse" to get together)

I heard grrrreat news while on board the Pride........Guy Sharp will be coming back to Seabourn! He was our beloved Hotel Manager......switched to the Food and Beverage Manager on the Queen Mary2 and NOW he's "comin' home" to US! AND will be on the Legend! Wonderful news!

Happy New Year!

Martita B.

Seabourn & Bermuda....perfect together - Bermuda is my favorite island & have visited there many many times.

I hope you are feeling better & de-icing down there! The BF & I are up to our necks in packing clothes for the cruise this Thursday( I hope we don't qualify as boat people). The good news is I lost a few pounds so the suitcases will be overflowing & NO AIRLINES this trip - 10 minute car ride to pier - lunch at the Four Seasons & then we board!

With wishes for the most happy & healthy of New Years to you & all the Seabournites!!!!

Rottie~~~~we had such a great time on the beautiful M/V Pride ship! Captain T.T. was in rare form, (and funny as he could be) Trevor was an absolute delight, Kevin, (Security Officer) was so much fun (cute as a bug) and Lulu was, as always, PERFECT! Cheffy Pascal outdid himself.......as well as our Guest Chef, Rob Feenie. I dearly love the Pursers! All work so very hard......and do such an outstanding job!

Wish you and Miss Vale could have been with us at the "Eggnog Social"......(my sweet housekeeper insisted that I go to the Spa and have the girls do my pink glittered eyes and lips to match my "Angel outfit!" (when they finished, I wasn't too sure what I looked like!) Just too much fun! Let's plan a 'lit cruise for 2005!

Your cruise sounds wonderful and NO airports! I keep tellin' myself, "NO MORE Dec. flying!" Talk about, "airport people?" Herds of cryin' babies, couples arguing, travelers lookin' like zombies, football fields of "airport people" trying to push in front of you......AND all shoeless!!!! (I hide in the Continental Club--I'm scared of them) Sure wish Seabourn would start leaving from GALVEZ, Texas!

Do enjoy each and every minute on the Dawn.......I'll be thinking of you! Raise a flute on Dec. 31st to "all the girls you've loved!"

Rottie~~~too funny to keep.......a nice fellow that owns an Arthur Murray dance studio and two of his instructors brought 4 nice ladies on our Pride cruise. Every evening we would watch them dance.......all quite good! WELL, I was visitin' with the "head teacher" and he invited me to take TANGO lessons......are you seein' the picture? I quickly and "excited to death" agreed! BUT, all "my Gang" wanted to come and kibitz me tryin' to tango.......I backed out! Had a tango dress, but didn't have a long stemmed red rose!

Sooooo, why don't we plan to take a dance voyage? Cha cha and tango?

Happy New Year!

I'm best on the dance floor after a few cocktails...so fluid, so in the need of lessons...My aunt told me when I was young as long as I could dance I'd have fun...

Perhaps we can get Miss Charlotte Vale to come....I'll be most happy to escort you ladies onto the dance floor & .....well....cha cha cha!!!

We'll order a round of Makers Mark Manhattans & see what unfolds...

PS -

Of course you had the dress...always prepared Martha!

Daneite~~~~I think Guy will be on the Legend in MARCH! We are all sooooo happy he's "coming home!" I think their new 'lit baby boy is here.......I need to e-mail him and find out all the particulars. Moa must be three, huh?

Vitor, one our favorites will be with us on our March Crossing.......he is so super! And fun!

Rottie~~~~guess what? Miss Vale and I did indeedy visit on the phone last evening.......only for 1 1/2 hours! We are planning our book......"The Seabourn Saga's......an Expose'" Will you buy a copy? Can you visulize a "book signing party?" Perhaps in New York?

Have a grrrreat cruise........and please cha cha cha!
