GE Mom Posted November 10, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2017 My husband and I are going to be in Cartagena in early March. We're going to do a tour. He really wants to see the old fort, and I'd like to see it too. But I've had two knee replacements (and am overweight) and walking is sometimes difficult. Does anyone do golf cart rides up the inclines, or is there some other way to get up to the fort without too much difficulty? If not, will they allow me to stay on the bus while he goes up? Rare Keith1010 Posted November 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2017 I am sure you can stay on the bus. I believe this will be your best option. Keith
LondonTowner Posted November 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 18, 2017 There are loads of taxis and mini buses at the cruise terminal that do tours at very reasonable prices. Cartagena is one of our favourite Caribbean ports. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Peachypooh Posted December 8, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 8, 2017 My husband went with the tour to see the fort and I stayed on the bus. This of course depends on the tour operator. The bus driver stood outside the bus and a few of us relaxed inside.
