CandaceLR Posted March 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2018 We purchase travel insurance for every cruise. Is it worth it? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
6rugrats Posted March 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2018 No one can answer that question for you. I wouldn't consider a trip out-of-the country without it.
klfrodo Posted March 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2018 . Is it worth it? Sent from my iPhone using Forums Do you file a claim at the end of every trip? Have you spent $10K in insurance and never filed a claim? Is your net worth such that you can afford to self insure? Is your debt to income ratio such that a $1K loss will sink you financially? Are you naturally just a risk taker? Do you have an aversion to risk?
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2018 Insurance is what it is. It protects you should you need to cancel the cruise after penalties set in for items such as a health issue and once the coverage begins should you have a health episode it can pick up the costs of the incident. It is all about the cost of the insurance versus the risk of not having it. Keith
