IslandFamilyTime Posted February 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2018 I am looking at buying Geoblue for a cruise on Holland America in March. Has anyone actually used their policy and if so, were you happy? I want to make sure I am covered for any visits or prescriptions if I visit the medical office on the ship. Thanks in advance! 6rugrats Posted February 17, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 17, 2018 What does this policy say it covers?
bdfred Posted February 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 17, 2018 My wife utilized the ship’s medical services due to flu like sypthoms. Filed a claim with GeoBlue and they paid without any issues. She did provide all the paperwork they required on their claim form. We’re using them again on a multi-trip policy.
IslandFamilyTime Posted February 18, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted February 18, 2018 What does this policy say it covers? The policy doesn't say anything specific about cruises.

Does she remember what type of paperwork or information she needed? Also, do you remember which plan she purchased?
Rare GeezerCouple Posted February 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 18, 2018 The policy doesn't say anything specific about cruises. But what does it say about international, and "emergencies" or non-emergencies? GC
beetle9 Posted February 21, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2018 the geo blue looks to be good for one yr is that correct we just need med and evacuation coverage credit card covers everything else. would be great if others would put in some input from experience tks

I also purchased a Medjet policy. Probably overkill, but my research suggest it’s not and it gives me peace of mind.
Suzanne123 Posted February 21, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 21, 2018 I also have both Medjet and GeoBlue annual policies. You can download a blank GeoBlue claim form from their web site. I always take one along.
