Dumb question Oasis twin beds

The beds in an ov balcony CAN be separated, right? I feel idiotic even asking, but, gee, that headboard with its reading lights doesn’t look like it accommodates separating the beds and putting the nightstands in between.

Linda your question is a great one.You can rest easy all twin beds can be seperated. Just ask your Stateroom Attendant to do it for you when you board. Millions of passengers ask for this every day!

Yes, beds can be separated. An OV (oceanview) is different than balcony but beds can be separate in each class. There are a few suites where beds cannot be apart.

It’s not really a headboard. It’s attached to the wall but not to the beds. They still slide and separate.

In a regular room, when separated there is only like a foot of space (if that) between the beds.

You can also put both nightstands together between the beds -- makes for a little more separation.

Sharing a room with my daughter and she has already said that she will be puttingall the tables between us. It's not like I was planning on us "spooning" so I'm not sure what she is thinking but if it helps her sleep better, who cares. :D

I (the mom) share with my teenaged son... first thing he does is make sure I leave the note for the room steward to separate the beds! :D
