Hotel beach recommendations for a day

Any suggestions of nice hotels on the beach where we can spend the day in fort de France, Grenada, st thomas?

Thought it would be nice instead of a ship shore excursion. Thanks.

I highly recommend Emerald Beach in St. Thomas. It's about a 4 minute shuttle ride for about $3-$5 per person. There's a hotel there where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas, rest rooms and a nice bar on the beach. It's easy to get a shuttle back to the ship. I just haven't heard whether the hurricane damaged it or not. You can probably google it and find some info. It's never crowded and really a nice beach. It was recommended to us several years ago by the concierge on Summit and we've been going back ever since.

Grenada.....Grande Anse. You can see it from the ship as you approach Grenada. Take the water taxi to it and walk down the beach a ways to avoid the crowded section of the beach.

St Thomas....Emerald Beach or Safire Beach...both easy to get to.

Fort de France...Anse Mitan. Take the water taxi right at the cruise port.
