Constellation/Equinox/Infinity

We were on the Constellation 2 years ago and it was amazing! We had a sky suite and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment, Michael's Club, etc.

Fast forward to the Equinox last summer and it seemed like a different experience! To be fair, it was the Caribbean after the terrible storms, however, the entertainment was lacking and the role of the concierge in Michael's Club had changed as well as the service in the club.

Now we are contemplating the Infinity for our next cruise and hesitating because we seem to be reading a number of negative reviews. Can anyone let us know how their experience was recently on the Infinity?

This will be our 50th anniversary trip and we want to go to Europe and are hoping for a wonderful voyage.

Sorry, not helping you at all, only asking a curiosity question. Never having been in a suite or anticipating I'll get to one (can always dream though), how did Celebrity change the role of the concierge in Michael's Club? From postings, it sounded like the concierge did pretty much anything.

On the Constellation, the concierge could resolve anything. Later, on the equinox the concierge had to refer issues to her boss who also took care of butlers. The concierge was always visible in Michaels club. Her boss was running around everywhere . It just seemed that the concierge had become powerless. Maybe things changed again

Hi was your Michaels club concierge Megan -she was amazing when we did 2 weeks then 4 weeks last year. This was before Suite Manager position evolved--then on Millennium in Jan 2018 in RS it was a totally different experience. No in suite contact from either person apart from "invites to events" from the concierge, it was very different to Connie. Not at all impressed with the Manager I thought the butlers did the job better.

Sounds like different staff makes for different roles. Our experience this year the Concierge handled everything we needed and quickly resolved a few issues we had. The Suite Manager was not visible in MC often; I assume because the MCC was capable of handling things.

The Suite Manager did get involved in helping a few of us who had problems in the port in India and and with a unruly guest.

We found that the difference between the Constellation in terms of the concierge, entertainment, etc was very different from the Equinox. We are looking at the Infinity and wondering if we are going to be over paying for a suite if everything has changed. Recently, I read the Lumanae food was not good. Just worried ....
