Don't book these rooms on Norwegian Dawn.

We cruised on the Dawn in 2015. We were in cabin #11626. The cabin was great. Nice and quiet. Not so much this trip. In 2015 the floor of the café was carpeted. Now it's tile after they refurbished in 2016. They have wooden legged chairs that make an awful screeching sound when they're moved (which is all day long from very early in the morning to late at night). A simple and in expensive fix would be to put rubber pads on the bottom of the chair legs. Don't know why they haven't fixed this since I'm sure we're not he first to complain.

NCL did the logical thing, how much time and effort did they have to put in clean in a carpeted flood from food spillage when compared to cleaning a wooden or tiled floor. Caveat Emptor.

Great you have pointed it out maybe people won't accept those cabins.

A good rule to follow for all cabins under the pool deck is to confirm that there are no high-traffic areas above you. It takes just one cruise in that situation to never repeat that mistake again.
