Marina Deck 9 Balconies

We will be staying in a balcony cabin, mid-ship, on deck 9 of the Marina. I would like to know how shaded the balconies are on this deck. Do the balconies above provide enough shade to enjoy our balcony in the afternoon on a sunny day? What about shelter on a rainy day?

if the sun is shining on the balcony there is very little shade unless you can put the chair close to the door

If it raining you might be able to sit out just depends

Thanks, JimandStan. The photo makes it look (to me) like the balcony would be fully covered. So there should a good amount of shade and shelter.

Where I live the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Whether you have sun on your balcony depends on where you are going and what side of the ship you are on.
