Alcohol-free options

I've followed the conversations about alcohol-free drink options on board Regent for some time, because though I enjoy a well made G&T and am partial to a glass or two of an interesting wine, there are times when I'd prefer to steer clear of the alcohol. This weekend we discovered Seedlip and at last, it appears there's a palatable "grown-up" non-alcohol drink. I'm wondering, has anyone else tried it - but perhaps more importantly, what are the chances of Regent taking some on board?

Indeed, garyb. I'll make a request when we make our dinner reservations! I've not tried kombucha, Dan. In fact, I'm not even sure I know what it is. I need to follow your link

Kombucha is fermented tea. It comes in several flavors, very popular in Asia, and becoming well known in the West!

kombucha is nasty IMO. Supposed to be good for you, but tastes like medicine.

The Kombucha i drink tastes great! It comes in all flavors and is nothing but refreshing. Sorry that you were introduced to a bad brand!

Returning to the Seedlip non-alcoholic "spirit", we did indeed request it for our upcoming cruise and received a phone call last week from "Regent Special Services" with profound apologies that although they'd been unable to source it for our Singapore departure next week, they will continue to try to get hold of some at other points during our cruise. We were very impressed by this particular service and grateful for such personal attention, which in our experience is typical of the responsive Regent we know and love.

Just for your info, when we were on the Voyager last year the wife wanted something non-alcoholic so she asked if she could get a virgin strawberry daiquiri. No problem, mixed it up and it tasted fantastic. She also got a virgin pina colada. Those guys can really mix up some great concoctions.
