Westerdam or Noordam?

Planning a trip to Alaska next July, which ship would you choose? Both cruises are basically the same.

Noordam, because it still has a nice Explorations Cafe/Library on deck 3 and a Crow's Nest that has not been converted to an EXC yet. It may be getting the EXC around Sep/Oct 2019.

I would take the Westerdam . We have had two unimpressive cruises on the Noordam/ Both time different issues.

Does the Noordam offer free Navigator wifi app yet?

I haven't been on the Noordam but I experienced the Westerdam last month. The ship was clean and in good repair. The Pinnacle Grill food and staff were outstanding. In marked contrast, my Canaletto experience was completely the opposite. Deck 7 verandah cabin stewards were adequate. Multiple errors on my account so keep your receipts and an eye on that. Did not care for the new Explorers Cafe setup. Very tight and uninviting with fewer food offerings. Future Cruise Rep had excellent customer service. Really really enjoyed my time at the BBC Earth trivia contest. Staff there were excellent.

Does the Noordam offer free Navigator wifi app yet?

Yes it does. We had it in May 2018.
