tomden2us Posted October 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2017 My wife and I will be taking a Princess cruise from Chile to LA during March 2018. We have the Machu Picchu Explorer pre-cruise package. With a lot of movement during this time, it appears that it will be very hard to take all of the luggage needed for a long cruise with us on the pre-cruise portion. Does anyone know how we should pack, and what to do with the extra luggage not needed for the pre-cruise?

taglovestocruise Posted October 10, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 10, 2017 Forget the extra luggage, first day on the ship send all your dirty clothes out for dry cleaning.
Floridiana Posted October 10, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2017 I bet Princess will chose a hotel where you store your large suitcase. You can only take a daypack or other small piece of luggage on the train. My husband's smaller board case than normal was the upper limit! Princess has done this trip for ages and knows what to do. tomden2us Posted October 12, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted October 12, 2017 Thanks to everyone. If I had read a little farther on the Princess site, I' d seen the part that says that all the excess luggage will be left at the hotel in Lima.
