Beer Cooler

It has been awhile since I saw anyone write about buying a beer cooler on board. Do they still sell them? Where would I get it once on board? I will be sailing on the Oasis January 5, 2013. Thanks in advance.:)

They sold a beer bag on Oasis when we sailed in June if that is what you are talking about..

We just returned from the Allure and they were sold on there.

Just back from Oasis. They sell them for $37 including 8 beers, $25 for any refills so you pay $12 for the cooler. However it only applies to 3 brands (Bud, Bud light and forget what the 3rd was). Also they don't sell it on embarkation day, we could not get one until the next day.

No Corona then? That is what I was hoping to fill my bag with :(

Yeah! Coronas! And I see the obligatory side of limes along with them! Did you have any issues getting the limes with the Coronas?

Understand, every ship is different. Allure had like 8 types of beer you could get, Oasis only Bud products. Majesty depends on who you talk to, sometimes different brands, mostly only Bud products.

Hello - I did not realize that RCI sold these neat bags. Is there a particular bar/shop you get them at.

We are sailing on Naviagtor in the Spring. Has anyone bought one on that ship?

On Allure, they were selling them from a cart on the pool deck but you probably can get them from any pool bar. As for Navigator, I'll find out in December.

Does the Explorer sell these???? we are leaving in 2 days HELP

On LOS you could get it filled with anything they had behind the bar, but it cost more if it wasn't one of the AB brands.

I thought the refill price when my hubby got his on the Allure in June was buy 7 get the 8th free? We didn't pay for the bag just paid for 8 beers the first time and got the bag free? :confused:

Just got off of the Freedom and these weren't available. I wanted one too!!!

Anyone know if Mariner has the beer bags??

We actually bring our own bag cooler that zips at the top. We tip the bartender well and he fills it with ice with our beers at the bottom. That way I'm not paying for another cooler I don't need. The igloo coolers that zip are the best and will last a good while even with direct sun. Just a suggestion... and you can get whatever beer you want.... never saw any cooler to buy on Monarch or Freedom, but I guess I wasn't looking hard enough. I woudl be curious about Navigator though!

Bought one while on the Enchantment last week.

Bag was free if you bought any 8 beers in any combo you wanted.

I you only wanted the cooler bag it cost $10.

Hoping they have them on the Jewel. DH would love one!
