Princess Ships Start Plugging into Shore Power at Port of Vancouver

Island Princess Inaugurates New Canada Place Facility to Reduce Air Emissions

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (August 31, 2009) -- Today Island Princess helped inaugurate the Port of Vancouver's new shore power facility by turning off its engines and instead "plugging in" to clean hydroelectric power from shore.

The new shore power technology at the Canada Place cruise ship terminal enables Princess Cruises' ships, and other equipped vessels, to use power from the city's grid instead of the onboard diesel-powered engines, reducing emissions when docking in Vancouver..... http://www.princess.com/news/article.jsp?newsArticleId=na1036

Why do the pics disappear after a while? It was definitely there yesterday, Just Hooked.

I think the reason why the pics just hooked posted disappeared is because the pics are no longer available.

Rather like the clocks disappearing on and off.

The Countdown clocks, have never disappeared for me, so I think it could may be a browser issues (with Internet Explorer 7.0 / Internet Explorer 8.0) or an ISP problem (talking to the Countdown clock server).
