WowItsMarissa Posted September 2, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2009 To some of you, this may be a pointless thread. However, I thought it would be fun :) I was inspired by the onion tart thread :D So, for those of you that have cruised enough to be able to predict the menu and become pretty used to it (whether it be in the main dining room, Windjammer, etc.), what is your all time favorite thing served on board? Soup, dessert, whatever! Just something that you remember and tend to get when you cruise again. I'm interested in the responses! OR you can turn this around and post the worst thing you've ever eaten on a cruise. We can examine the good and the bad, I suppose! For me, I love the escargots. I always soak up the garlic butter that it's served in with bread. Very unhealthy but so delicious.
joeyancho Posted September 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2009 OK, I'll start. My favorite dessert is the Ivory Choclate Fondue in the MDR. And Key Lime pie is not too far behind
Langley Cruisers Posted September 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2009 It is fun, but there are many food threads already running. The one below is the most recent thread; perhaps you might post in that one? :) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1050162

pmfan Posted September 2, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Here's another vote for Key Lime Pie, and I also look forward to their Savory Bites. Yummm! :D
MAZANDSTEVE Posted September 2, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2009 The seafood skewers in Portofino and fillet mignon both were very good. There selection of bread was delicious too.
