Where do you stay in Seatle prior to cruise?

Another vote for the Westin - bid on priceline!!!

 

Not sure if the OP is familiar with PriceLine, but while you can often get good prices, you are never SURE which property will accept your bid...:confused:

If you go the North american Homeports forum, scroll to WestCoast departures you will find multiple suggestions for hotels, shuttles, rental cars etc.

Also stayed at Grand Hyatt--got it thru priceline. Very happy with it. Short walk to Pike Place Market--however I didn't realize that it (the market) closes early--got there on a Friday night around 8:30 pm and everything was closed up.:(

We stayed at Springhill suites....great rooms, great breakfast, free shuttle around town. Booked through Priceline.

Where around town did they have a shuttle to? Did it shuttle you to the pier?

Did you come in by plane..,if so what was the charge to the hotel from the Airport?

We haven't yet booked our Seattle hotel for May. We've been to Seattle many times so don't need sight-seeing time. We are thinking about hotel at airport but wondering :confused:

1) do the airport hotels have complimentary shuttle from airport to hotel? 2) I know Seattle Express goes from airport to several downtown hotels or to Pier 91, but does it go from any airport hotels to Pier 91?

some much pre-cruise things are going on..so we try to make things as simple as possible..even if means paying a few $$ more..

 

all we wanted to do was get to our hotel and not have to rent a car

 

we had the choice of either the marriott across the street from Pier 66 or The Edgewater, next door to the pier..both within easy walking distance..we opt d for the The Edgewater..we got a good price thru EasyClick..

 

there we met a towncar driver and arranged for him to pick us up on debarkation the following sat to take us to the airport..
