cruise virgin!!

Hi all! Im going on my first crusie 19th December on the Ruby Princess with my OH and 2 children 8 and 10. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of cruising with kids over xmas and if they do anything special onboard xmas day? I was also wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of activities they will be able to do at the kids club? Sorry for all the questions!!
