seemt o ruin the deck party. It was a blast. That was the only night I got totally trashed (4 long island ice teas during the deck party). I did the Cupid Shuffle then, but was also worried about slipping. I managed to stay on my feet. We then hit the disco after that and went back to our cabin at 3 AM!

208 Window table... he is the one that was gettin LOW, baby, LOW on the low song! And he does pole dancing too! :p:D

we were at 235 I think. Our server was a disappointment. :( Second time out of 5 that I have not been satisfied. Empty drink glasses, no fun playing, etc. But it definitely did not ruin my cruise!

I just popped over to Cuted's review from our sailing and she reminded me about the rain on the deck party.... there was a huge congo line starting but I was too afraid I would bust my butt on the slippery deck and matts!

The capers from Nassau has our cruise director's name listed as Flipper!!!

Later on this night there was a band playing on the Lido deck... I'm talking about 1:30am and later... playing rock and roll and some heavy stuff... it was pretty neat! I never thought I would hear Metallica or Guns and Roses on a cruise ship!

Pssst... Honey... what is the name of the band that your DH said my DH looked like one of the guys? I can't remember and I forgot to look it up!

I saw that and one of the days his name was listed as "Woohoo" LOL!

Back to the dining room for dinner. Samson asked why I didn't get my hair braided this time.... I can't believe he remembered that I did that last time out of all the people he see's! I wanted to do it but I just didn't want to spend over $100 to do it again. Don't get me started on that... it still aggrivates me!!

We were still in Nassau and they had the drapes open tonight. And our view was that dredger again with the white house behind it.... you know the one, right?

We were enjoying dinner, Samson and Papa and I looked out the window... we were under way! WOOO HOOO!!! Oh wait... that means it's almost over.... that sucks.... Reality was starting to kick in... we would have to say goodbye the next night... I tried not to think about it... I started tearing up.... Not yet... I refuse to cry already!!!

After dinner we changed and headed out and about... probably more of the same.... casino, lido, verandah, just taking it all in...

We didn't do any of the shows this time. They were the same as last time.

We decided to go check out a gift shop by the Palace Theatre.... a show was starting... and I heard a woman singing Minnie the Moocher.... I love that song... so we stepped in to check it out. There was a circular booth open to our left so we grabbed a seat. Tia Thompson was performing.... singer/comedian. She has a good voice and she is really funny! She had invited 3 guys up on stage and they were going to become part of the act. She had them in women's wigs with boah's and had them singing... it was too funny! If she is on one of your cruises.... go see her! I'm glad we ended up seeing the show!

After Tia was done, Tony Esposito was up next... we saw him last time too. He had a bit of new material... but he was still funny!

After more roaming around we headed back to our room to get ready for our last fun day at sea....

But first.... TOWEL ANIMAL TIME!!!!

DSC_0204-1.jpg

I'm not sure what he is, but he has his arms crossed under his head relaxing on a pillow! I thought he was adorable too!

Next up..... our last fun day at sea.... :(

Maybe it's a monkey laying on it's back. Well,no monkey has a face like that right, lol. Still so cute though! My dh was one of the guys Tia pulled up on stage during the early show, too funny!

Hey Stef, I'm loving your review. I feel like I am reliving my cruise!

We had window table 215 - 7 of the children were seated right accross from us. Their waiter (Eddie) sure deserved the extra tips he got! Tony, one of our travelling companions actually won a stick on a ship - he won the hairy chest contest! We all had a great time. Wish I could have met up with everyone at sail-away.

Happy cruising!

You may recognize him from them singing. He had to go to the middle of the dining room for the singing part. I'm sorry you had bad waiters... that stinks!

No way!! No sushi this time!! Whenever we walked past there and it was open we would ask eachother..... SUSHI?!?! and keep walking! I like writing the reviews... but I'm not into it as much this time because I am really having withdraws! I am serious... It really sucks!

Ooooo Tony! He also did the master mix thingy with the drinks, right? He was one of the guys getting into everything! I was cheering for him to win the hairy chest contest! We were there... There were some up there that should have never tried... no chest hair at all.... a newborn may have had more hair on it's head then some of them!

You were sitting towards the front of the dining room then... not too far away I bet!

Our last Fun Day at Sea :(

I woke up pretty bummed. I knew this would be our last full day and I didn't know where time had gone and I didn't want to go home. I didn't want to be bummed all day though so I tried really hard to have fun! I did... but in the back of my mind I just wanted to stay...

We woke up about 7am. We did our usual morning routine... sit for a bit with the tv on and catch another part of a movie... shower and get ready to hit the decks.

We did our usual breakfast in the dining room. Then we walked around until 9:30... Slogan trivia in the Palace Theatre. No ship on a stick for me still! Oh well....

Next up was to take a look at more pictures.... and drop them off in our room.... That's when I found a letter under our door. Something I may never get again.... From the Ocean Players club telling me that I had a positive balance in my player bank and not to forget to cash out by 2am. Like I would forget that!

We just wandered around again.... we ended up outside of the Lido again relaxing watching the water go by. That's when we saw a storm up ahead. It was pretty dark up there. It seemed like we slowed down as well. It took a little while but we made it to the rain. It wasn't that bad. It looked worse then what it was. Just a light drizzle.

11am was the debarkation talk. I wanted to go again because I wanted to see the video of everyone from the first day. Last time I was boo - hooing like a baby.... Everytime I hear that song by Green Day I think of the last day of our cruise. Felipe was funny of course... I'm glad we went even though I was starting to cry by the middle of the film. I can't help it. DH says I am getting "chicky" on him.

Felipe after the talk..... My new fave!

After the talk we were making our way to the casino when we spotted Honey and her DH. They are platinum so they were going to give their free try at the slot tourney a shot. The Casino host was giving everyone who entered a bead necklace and said that whoever had the most beads at the final round would get a prize. So I had what I thought was a brilliant idea! I had beads for our Meet and greet! I had some of the same color beads that she was giving out! Hey Honey.... if I get you more beads and you win... if the prize is a ship on a stick can I have it? And if it's something else you can have it! I WANT A SHIP ON A STICK! I know that the Fascination will always be special for me! She agreed (she's the best!) Well, Honey and her DH didn't get a high enough score to go on the board.

DH and I decided it was about time for an adult beverage. Honey and DH agreed so we said we would meet up at the Newlywed game a bit later.

We all went back to our cabins to make those drinks....

We ran into Win and Edwin in the hall... our awesome Stewards!

Next stop was ice carving demo on the Lido deck at 1:00pm. Once again as we walked out onto the Lido deck Samson spotted us and called us over. So we talked for a bit and told him we were going to go out on the side for awhile.... I saw his boss coming and didn't want him to get into trouble. So we went out. The next thing I know Samson is standing inside the lido making faces at us trying to talk to us thru the glass.... he came outside and talked with us for awhile. It was actually a long while... I told him I would be crying in the dining room that night and he started making crying noises. He told DH to bring a towel with us to the dining room!

DSC_0220-1.jpg

Then he had to go back to work..... after he left I realized the ice carving was probably over. We went to look and he had just finished it. There were people on the stage taking pictures. So I went up to get a picture too... even though we missed it.... the water was flowing off of it like someone was pouring a bucket of water over it!!

Time to upload more pics.... back in a flash

We decided to drop off the camera and head over to the casino yet again.... DH won $110 and I scored a little bit...

Soon it was time for the Not so Newlywed game!

We didn't make it to this last time but we made sure we did this time. Honey and her DH were there almost in THEIR seats... someone took their seats where they ALWAYS sit... but we were close.

Honey and her DH had a surprise for me... A SHIP ON A STICK!!! I didn't want to take it. He won it in a trivia contest I believe and they told me to take it because they have about 5 at home. I kept telling them I couldn't but I finally did after I made sure it was ok.... But it had the ship name on it! They insisted it was ok.... I told you that they were the best! Thanks again guys!! I really love it and it really made my day!

Honey and her DH ran up to the casino to see if they were picked for the lucky person to go into the slot tourney. The Capers said 3:15 and when they got up there they had already called the winning ticket! They got up there about 3:10ish. That really stunk... I hope they didn't call their number!

They came back and joined us for a pretty funny newlywed game. The first couple was married at 2:30pm on embarkation day. The middle couple was married I believe 10 years. And the eldest couple were married 61 years!! Of course they were everyone's favorite... even Felipe loved the woman. She was so sweet! Her DH was a riot!

After that finished it was tea time! I forgot to mention that we did tea the first sea day as well.

Sure, this time we had already been drinking but what the heck! There were pastries there that we wanted again! Honey and her DH missed the first tea and they wanted to go so we all headed over together!

The tables in there are real small except for the booths. All the booths were taken up except one... but Lorraine the piano player from the piano bar at night was there... so I said... we'll sit with Lorraine! Is that ok?!? Of course she didn't mind. We chatted with Lorraine for awhile and before we knew it tea was over. We did get there late, right at the end of it. They had a private function they needed to set up so we had to leave.

By this time it was 4:00 and we decided we better go pack some stuff up. We had to have our luggage out before midnight... so we thought it would be a good time to do it since there was a lull in the activities... Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot more to do on the last sea day?

So we packed up and then we realized it was almost 5pm. We had to go to the jewelry store to see if we would be a lucky winner of a $100 shopping spree........ nope.

Now it was time to go next door to the Palace Lounge for the "Fun Farewell Party". This was the free drinks for an hour party. They had two of the singers from the shows up on stage singing. Honey and her DH found us and we sat and talked. Both Honey and my DH's asked if we wanted to dance... awww so sweet! I think they knew they better ask us... we both said no. But isn't it sweet that they asked? :p

Honey and DH had the early seating so they had to head to the dining room. I have no idea what we did! I really can't remember.... hmmmm... rum punch?

I had to cheat and look at my pictures! I left DH in the room for a bit because he wanted to sit for a bit. I took the camera and went to get some sunset pics. I love sunsets, and I really hadn't gotten any except for the few I took out of the port holes.

OK are you guys ready for this? Like I said I love sunset pics and I go a little crazy. I have a hard time picking out just a few so I may go crazy here... please bare with me.....
