ArtM Posted October 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Next year we are going to be doing a CruiseTour (HAL#5) which according the itinerary I've received finishes at the Anchorage railway station at 8:15 PM after a rail trip down from Denali. I hope to use frequent flyer miles for the trip to the lower 48 so I may not have the my choice of flights. So to prepare myself for whatever the airline offers, what is the soonest after that 8:15 PM arrival in Anchorage that can I rationally schedule a flight? For example, there is at least one possible connection that departs around 1:30 AM. In terms of the timing, and ignoring the suffering my body will endure, would that be a feasible departure time? Budget Queen Posted October 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2009 That timeframe is doable. I would not consider much before 11:30pm.
ArtM Posted October 5, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Thank you very much for the info. Given the limited flights and chances to recover if we miss our flight, I'll avoid anything before midnight. Now let's see if we get lucky.
