alwayshappytocruise Posted October 24, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2009 ...need some help please!! We want to take a catamaran tour that would go out to the Hole in the Rock, maybe stop at a place for lunch and/or swimming. Have checked out several tour companies but the times aren't jiving with our arrival/departure times. We arrive at 9am, unfortunately we are tendering in and would need to be back on the ship around 5pm. Are there tour companies that would be offering such a catamaran tour on the dock where the tender arrives? So far, the ship isn't offering what we're looking for. Thanks in advance, Lynda
CRUSINGFAMILY Posted January 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2013 We have the same arrival and departure times, does anyone know the answer to this question now?
Rare mr walker Posted January 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2013 with Bay if Islands being a tender port and the arrival and departure times shown for our visit on Radiance OTS, we elected to take the shore excursion offered by RC (ship's tour) on the Tall Ship. If you are on a tour booked thru the ship itself, you will get preferential access to the tender off the ship & the ship will not leave you behind if there are delays. It may cost a bit more, but we are on vacation & want no stress :D & it's a long swim to Sydney

Thanks in advance, Lynda try researching "fullers" who are the main tourist operators and also Mac Attack...who operate a high octane high thrill operation. Most of the responsible operators go out to the hole reasonably early in the morning as it gets a bit rough out at cape brett around lunch time. I speant my childhood in the Bay. The trip out is great if you can get out there.
