GottaLuvCruising Posted October 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2009 If the mother can't control the kid, I'd rather not have him on my flight either. Good for the crew!
Ashland Posted October 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2009 Hmmm!....Wonder what SWA would have done if they had taken off already.....maybe we would have really had a "Balloon Boy"....
gargoyle999 Posted October 31, 2009 #5 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Too bad Southwest had to apologize and give a $300 voucher. Confident his screams would subside...yeah right.
UpstateCruizer Posted October 31, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 31, 2009 On our outbound flight on Oct 17th they kicked an obnoxious man off our flight as well. We were all relieved despite the delay. They mean business which is good to see. I think I could stand a younger child more than the older obnoxious one that sat behind us on the way home. She looked about 5 and screetched, squealed and carried on the entire flight. She alternated seats with her parents so the three of us sitting in front of her got to experience her kicking the seat at various points. Her parents thought she was cute while the rest of us put our ear plugs in or head sets on. She wins the most obnoxious child award for all of our previous flights along with her encouraging parents.
