Theoretically they can cancel your booking if you miss the deadline. If you aren't going to make the deadline call the cruise line or your TA and see what you can work out. But, I definately agree, if cash is too tight, then cancel before final payment to get most/all of your money back. Don't loose any needlessly. They said as long as its not more then a week late then you should be fine. Try calling to see what they can do for you. I booked thru a TA, Friends Booked directly through NCL...
