I also read in another thread that a fishing weight scale will weigh up to 40 pounds and cost much less than a luggage scale. I am Canadian and found one at our local Canadian Tire. It weighs 6oz. and only cost $6.00. (I really didn't want to pay $40.00 but I don't want to be charged for overweight luggage either).

we always take a air freshener for the bathroom. just buy a little stick up or one that you use in the car. very cheap $1 store item and you never know how your bathroom may smell :eek:. we have always made sure to pack 1 of these. just my 2 cents worth. and i item i do like to take is a small am/fm radio to listen to local music on my balcony when in port and sailing. kinda fun to see what you can hear.leave the ipod at home.;)

A highlighter pen is a must for your capers. You won't miss anything it you have it marked.

then I know where to go if I need any of this stuff LOL Be sure to take suntan lotion and dont forget to put on the top of your feet... This area usually gets cooked.. if not any..

We always bring a magnetic chip clip to put on the cabin wall. We use it to leave notes for each other, for the capers, etc. Just something to hep keep the desk area more organized.

 

Tried the plastic shoe organizer for over the door on our last cruise and loved it! It was so nice to not be constantly knocking things over on the bathroom counter.

 

We also bring the small air freshener from Bath and Body.

 

Have a great time, we sail in 18 days!!!

You need a watch. The cell phone as a clock is not a good idea. Why would you carry around an expensive device for a clock?

 

You will need to stay on SHIP TIME, where a watch.

How about a little manicure kit? With a little pair of scissors? You know embroidery size.

A small sewing kit too.

Slide both inside your shoes.

wet-wipes

Off bug spray

 

these items wont take up much space, and were needed when I went.

Krissta, I understand completely...I am CDO, same as OCD, but the letters are alphabetized like the should be! :p hope this helps and have a good time....PS, what is the shower organizer....its a very small shower on the ship ........
