Red Sea cruise.

Does anyone know the possibility of getting to beaches on this cruise. Just looking for some sun.

Yes, there are beach transfer options at all the ports, usually to a hotel complex/beach resort.

Not until January so I am quoting the destination info from the Thomson site. It appears that the beach transfers are a form of excursion rather than a shuttle bus.

 

you can have lots of fun with google earth finding all the locations, where the ship docks etc etc.

We did a beach trip a couple of years ago now...to a nice resort hotel with its own private beach, we had use of the pool area, buffet lunch laid out in the restaurant and use of the sunbeds/umbrellas on the beach. We enjoyed it!

the Red Sea is not like the Caribbean though...not all white sand and palm trees!! The ports are very industrial and there won't be lines of taxis to take you to a beach.....you will need to go via the ships trips.

There should be plenty of sun though (depending when you go) and lots of interesting places to go!
