Tripple stateroom Eurodam

Hi,

I am new here and would like to know if you can tell me if a tripple stateroom cat VF is okay for the transatlantic crossing in August 2010 on the Eurodam. We are 3 adults and a single stateroom is a bit too expensive so we are thinking of booking a tripple.

Thank you for your help!

Let's see if I can hel;p a little bit.

VF 5125 Deluxe Verandah Ocean View Staterooms: 2 lower beds convertible to 1 queen-size bed, bathtub & shower, sitting area, private verandah, floor-to-ceiling windows.

I do have a couple of photos of a VF Stateroom with the 2 seat sofa (If you look at the photos above VF 5125 there is a better view of a 2 seat sofa with a CC member sitting on it. You will see it is just large enough for 1 person. http://abqreunion2008.com/Eurodam/index.html

Hope this helps

Joanie

IMO three adults in a VA to VF would be OK for an island-hopping 7-day cruise, but I sure wouldn't want to do it TransAtlantic! If you can't swing a second cabin for the 3rd person, look into the cost of one of the triple SS cabins (7079, 7080), which will give you 50% more space than a Vx cabin. :)

If you really can't swing the cost of an SY to SS I would see if you can book a "V" catagory cabin designed as a quad and have the 3rd person sleep in the bunk that pulls down from the ceiling and leave the sofa as a sofa.

We will find out for sure next October when we have DS in our cabin, but I think that having the sofa pulled out as a bed really takes up most of the room from the bed to the veranda door. I can't imaging there is more than a foot or so of room between the desk and the sofa bed.
