Sun Princess Spruce Up

We are booked on the Sun Princess to New Zealand in Oct of 2010. I believe another poster mentioned a planned sprucing up of the ship. Does anyone know when this is going to happen?

Sun Princess will be spruced up for your cruise; she’s going in to Dry dock in April 2010

Hi Toledo Cruiser,

It's in drydock in Brisbane in the 2nd half of April, so expect to see a MUTS and sanctuary when you cruise in October 2010.

I'm assuming they will do the same renovations as were carried out on the Dawn Princess this year. The inside changes are not so easliy recognised.

Just returned from 1/23/2010 Sun Princess cruise. No complaints at all even though not a new mega ship. Small balcony area compared to Princess ships (Diamond & Caribbean). Bartender said that outdoor movie screen to be added. Due to do size of ship don't expect major additions (i.e. more bars, Anytime dining ect.). Cabins seem to be as new as newer ships.
