Where is Explorer of the Seas from January 3 to January 14th, 2010?

I was following Explorer of the Seas around today and realized that there is no cruise form January 3 to the 14th of 2010.

 

 

Does anyone know where she will be?

No one knows... that rather strange... i think she ship will disappear for 10 nights!! :confused:

Dry dock I presume.....or maybe she will be entering the Bermuda Triangle!!!!!

I am going on her on the 14th and can't wait to see what they've upgraded!

I am also on the 14th sailing. Come over to the Roll Call, we have a very active group. My understanding is they will be repairing the propeller and replacing carpet, and some paint. No one knows for sure, but many are hoping for flat screen tv's in all the cabins :).

If a new restaurant would be addded it would be reflected on the deck plans.

Doesn't look like there will be a new restaurant.. well, at least they'll paint it and replace the carpets. That's good enough!

sorry..only 5 year maintenence on the engines/props/stabilizers

 

repainting the underside

 

other repainting

 

carpet and upholstery repair/replacement (but not all over from what i gather)

 

the MAY finish changing the TVs...right now they are in some owners suites and JSs....

 

other touching up.

 

i don't think they are redoing EVERY cabin....this was not specifically mentioned a couple weeks ago when we were on our b2b....

Yes, according to Capt Olav, they were able to replace it on a couple overnights in bermuda. (although originally the talk was that it would wait til drydock)

 

there is, though, apparently a sizeable, shall we say, dent that will be fixed....
