kaj1436 Posted December 30, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2009 I'm cruising NCL. I know their cabins are on the small side already so I'm wondering if I'm going to have trouble finding space to store all the luggage and the car seat in a balcony room. Any experienced travellers out there with some advice? Thanks alot.
cb at sea Posted December 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2009 The luggage should fit under the bed....so perhaps you'll have a bit of closet space for the carseat.
Snowbuddy Posted December 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2009 I have not been on NCL, but when we were on Royal in October w/ our 18-month-old, we stored the luggage under the bed, and put the carseat in the closet.
CeleBrat Posted December 31, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Just a thought--but could you bring a garbage bag to put the carseat into, then keep the whole thing out on the balcony? CeleBrat
matj2000 Posted December 31, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2009 Why are you bringing a car seat?
MNmomof4 Posted December 31, 2009 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2009 I've always put the car seats in the closet. We usually travel with 2 car seats and a double stroller and have no trouble with storage. I have never traveled NCL so I can't speak for that cruiseline. If they are booster seats there should be no problem under the bed.
leighuf Posted January 1, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2010 Agree with others. Suitcases fit under the beds and carseat can go into the closet. I've never brought a carseat with me, though. I leave it in the car at the port. I'm guessing that's not an option for you?
