OBC can we ger cash at the end?

Yes you can, with some limitations.

If the OBC is from the cruise line, (like a NEXT cruise OBC, or some special booking offer) you must spend it. It is my belief that that is the money that should be spent first.

If you have OBC (like you stated) from your TA or from a reduction in the fare for your cabin, you should be able to just go to Guest Services and request to withdraw it. You may meet some resistance from the clerk as they are told routinely that you have to spend it or lose it. If you run into this problem, request that they check with their supervisor and it will probably not be a problem on getting your money. I would also suggest that you take along any copies of paperwork that shows where the OBC was derived.

BTW, OBC that is in the latter category, like yours, will automatically be refunded back to your credit card after the cruise. When we have leftover OBC, I personally would rather withdraw it on the ship on the last night.

If the policy changes again, or they refuse give you a refund, you can also go to the casino and take a cash advance against your Seapass card. They will charge you a 3% fee, but you are 97% ahead if their policy is "use it or lose it". Also, if you have a RCCL credit card you get 2% in points value for this advance, so your net fee is only 1%.

I have read on these boards, that RCCL uses up the refundable OBC first, then the non-refundable. When I had both and knew I wouldn't use it all, I went on day 2 and got cash for my entire refundable OBC, so they couldn't use anything but the refundable OBC and my credit card.:)

On my Freedom cruise last month Nephew had a Next Cruise OBC and I had a Shareholder OBC. Neither of spent the entire amount and the left over amount was refunded for both of us. If we would have wanted to withdraw it in cash there would have been 3% service charge.
