Splendor Spa Room question

It says that the spa rooms have private access to the Spa. Does it go off of your key or something? Also, at the end of the Spa hallway on Deck 10, is it closed off, or can anyone walk through there: the room we booked is at the end of the spa rooms, so I was just wondering if that is closed off after that, or if it's just a regular long hallway, continuing on.

thanks,

If you are not on the floor with the Spa, that "sometimes" actually works. There is also a little winding stairway you can take. We didn't find any traffic in the halls, it was very quiet and serene. My favorite part of the SPA was the relaxation room, and I actually made an area like it when we got home, and ordered us special herbal teas, which we use constantly. This is a room that has beds to nap in, comfortable chairs, fresh fruit, an asian ambiance and various teas to enjoy. It is also the area they put you in while waiting for a spa appointment.

We got lucky, we went last January, (when it was in FL) and economy was horrible, and we got a call on Christmas Eve offering us a magnificent upgrade to a SPA Suite for the trip, so it was the trip of a lifetime. Weather wasn't great, we've had much better in January, so we spent a lot of time using all the spa facilities and it turned out to be a very special relaxing romantic trip.

Have a great trip!

Enjoy your trip.

We were in a Spa suite as well. Loved the room, wish the balcony was larger.

Just got back today from our sailing last week. We booked a spa balcony cabin (1106) it was AMAZING. There are doors that anyone can walk thru but nobdy does except those people that are in those cabins. It was a very quiet area and absolutely loved the spa perks. We were on deck 11 so the only deck above us was the Adult Only Serenity area - it was very quiet. We sat on our deck for hours and just enjoyed the views. We saw a bunch of whales from our balcony mostly in PV and Cabo.

You are issued white Spa braclets to wear and when you check in at the front desk in the spa you have to give them your room key and they give you a special key/card that opens all of the private areas. It was really nice literally being right around the corner (50 feet) from the spa. You will love the cabin. Have a great time.
