Solstice Upper Berth

Has anyone stayed in a Verandah cabin on Solstice with an upper berth for third person sleeping? Is the berth over the bed or seating area? Did you find it comfortable or too crowded?

Upper birth was over the couch.

From what my daughter told me - very comfortable.

Not in the way at all as it goes back into the ceiling during the day.

Wife tried to do that to me because of the snoring but seriously, the uppers are very comfortable.

Make sure you are getting a room that sleeps four. As the standard berth for the 3rd person is actually the couch itself.

Hello:

Look at the legend when you examine deck plans... their is a special indicator ( a solid triangle) for upper birth cabins.

We sailed on the Solstice lst March in 7264... it is one of the cabins with an upper birth and it's just on the hump, so it had one of the largest balconies.

The cabins with the upper berths have both a square and a triangle. Any other symbols do not have the pull down beds.
